I just saw this on Ages Three and Up's Twitter page:
Due to Unavoidable circumstance, Encline will not be able to come up to Canada in time for the Customizing and Dry-brushing classes that were scheduled for the 21st and 22nd, as a result ,the classes have been officially cancelled and we will be issuing full refunds to everyone who has signed up. We will post any updates on when the classes may be rescheduled for as soon as we are able.

That's not for TFcon... that's just at the A3U store in Vancity. TFcon is 27-29th.

Ah,, thanks for the correction, I didn't realize it was just for the store.

It's silly really, immigration and travel considered being at the head of a 'customization class' for two days as a job, which requires a work permit within Canada. So now he's not allowed up here for a bloody year.

Unbelievable, that's ridiculous. I wonder if voice actors and other guests for conventions and such who are paid to appear suffer from the same limitations, or is there some loophole they're allowed to exploit?

Of course, some of the best voice talent in the world (in my opinion at least) comes from Canada.
