Kreon Combiners

I really dislike the large expensive Kre-o sets because I feel its just BTR all over again. That being said, those little kreon gestalt teams that are coming out look awesome!
I cannot believe the hate ive seen from these little gestalt dudes. I mean, I get it, people are mad because they are all 4 bot teams instead of 5 (I can see why in Devestator's case) But I think this issue can be fixed.
They are selling the extra team members seperately, right? ok.
They all have extra pieces now because they transform. ok.
So, why not buy the combiner, the extra team member, and then add him to the gestalt form using your creativity? Ive seen you guys do crazy things with lego, kre-o, and what-have-you. This shouldnt be too hard, right?
I think that may be what hasbro had in mind. I say, give them more of a chance before passing judgement (Even Devestator)

I don't really bother with Kre-O all too much, but I get the gist of what you're hinting at.

I don't like Kre-O though I don't know why. Maybe because of its outlook.

My thoughts precisely Beastprowl.

. I'm really looking forward to them, they're just nice, small representations of the gestalts we all love. Personally, I kind of suspect that the fifth members will include a modified set of instructions for their inclusion in the gestalts.

I never had any interest in the Kre-O line, but I'm super excited about the Kreon microchangers and combiners.
Not only could a creative person find a way to incorporate a 5th team member, I also think it will be fun to come up with completely new gestalts by combing Microchangers that weren't necessarily meant to go together.
Here's an idea: once we've got the first 6 figures, let's have a contest to see who can create the coolest gestalt using them! Maybe make a 5-Kreon gestalt and use the sixth for a weapon.
I think some people (the haters) just don't understand that these are a "LEGO" interpretation of Transformers. If you've ever played a LEGO video game or seen the LEGO sets based on licensed movies, you know the concept is taking a property, be it Batman, Transformers, Star Wars, Harry Potter, whatever, and reducing it to a simple blocky representation that removes the seriousness and realism and replaces them with simple fun and a little silliness. The fact that some of the Microchanger alt modes look like a cute little robot laying face down with a few pieces moved around is pretty damn funny and adorable, IMO.

I am already slitting my mattress open to get the cash out for these!
Those friggen Kreos are the most frustrating for me in years. When I first saw them revealed at Botcon I had this overwhelming joy tinged with disgust and defeat feeling. Like hearing about Transformers 4. I love the tiny Kreon guys, but I am completely indifferent to the actual block robots, so I haven't been buying them. I just don't like Legos/Kreos, I know I would lose all the little pieces and ever since a nanny job I had a few summers ago for two ADHD spazz monsters the sight of little legos fills me with rage and regret.
But now....now they all shall be mine. Yessss.....

Now that sounds like a fun idea.

And I completely agree about LEGO in general. Applying a LEGO theme to anything makes it terribly amusing! A lot of that is nostalgia, but it'll never be denied, haha.

I think that would be an amusing idea as well, but I'l probably get them MONTHS after everyone else, like I do with just about EVERYTHING. I think the only TF I got about the same time as most people did was Animated Bulkhead, and that was out of pure luck.
That being said, a contest would be fun, and we should totaly do it, for all who would participate. In fact, I bet alot of you could make a few combiners out of what you have now, if you tried hard enough.
All that aside though, I really look forward to the day when I can get superion and bruticus, at least.
