Megatron's got weird colors, but Galvy is pure win.

True, that color scheme is not too bad. It's still the same as Megs, for me: awesomely rad vehicle mode, dissapointing robot mode.

One disapiontment I already talked about and I'll talk about it again is this one:
DotM Target Exclusive voyager Starscream.
I had no choice but to buy it from Ebay.
I receive it. I got the non transparent red cockpit and eyes. Goddammit! I rage.
Following the instructions, I transform him into jet mode. I'm at the step where you have to fold the hands inside at the back.
...
WTF, once again, a manual that is outdated by the toy! The hands dont fold at all and just stick out of the back!
RAGE!!!

That's one of the reason I may not buy voyager Prime's Dreadwing.

disappointments. Well I'll have to go with cybertron thunderblast. there is no way in hell you can get a good pose with her. She ended up in my spare parts after my cousin ruined her. (tried to paint her black with a sharpie).

her weapon on the other hand is great. :D

Re: You did not think much of that toy, but you bought it just in case.. Then, the unexpected surprise!

I'm not a fan of the legends class, but they looked neat and I found them for slightly cheaper than normal at TJ Maxx, so I decided to give them a shot. Absolutely loved their transformations and how they looked in both forms. Can't say that about any other legends class figure I've purchased.

It totally agree. They are so awesome, and I'm not about legends at all! Also agree on Oil Slick. Only bought because was $4.95 - and one of my favorites!.

For me it was my first G1 purchase, Jetfire. I thought it would be a piece of poop because it's over 30 years old, but I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome it was, especially the alt modes. It gave me the strong desire to start collecting G1s. Unfortunately, my wallet has not forgiven me for this decision :S

I was so excited when I got Animated Samurai Prowl. Then so disappointed. The figure itself is just okay but after adding up the armor, it's just totally crap. He couldn't even stand and can barely pose.

My from low to high one is kind of weird. It's the Kre-O Ratchet. Don't expect much from this build set but after putting together, he has really nice ambulance mode and I really love his robot mode.

Sadly from high to low experiences are much more than from low to high. :-(

I'd been holding off buying TFPrime Voyager Starscream. Nearly hit that Buy button at over twice the RRP a few times, but then got cold feet.
Read in the UK sightings that Voyager Wave 2 was on TRU.co.uk. So bought one happy that I'd finally got hold of him.
By chance I was near a TRU the next day so popped in not expecting much, but found Voyager Starscream and Bulkhead. Ended up buying Bulkhead to add to the cast. I hadn't really been seeking Bulkhead out, but in hand he looked pretty cool. Ended up loving his mold. I love the way the doors hinge forward on the chest, and he's a joy to transform.
Starscream showed up several days later, but after a quick play I was pretty disappointed in his transformation and massive feet. I have the FE Starscream and he's much, much better than this.
