Has there been any official word yet on when/if the United Rumble and Frenzy will make it state side?

The blue one was solicited for the final wave of 2010's Reveal the Shield. However, since the first waves got bad distribution (put
very mildly), the last wave got canceled altogether.
Ok, I'll say it: for Japan, Frenzy was blue, Rumble was red. But for the US the blue one was Demolition Rumble.

doubt we'll see them, what with the FOC Soundwave getting little dudes called Frenzy and Rumble, and Prime RID Rumble as well.

Can't recall the exact time/place, but I'm fairly certain it has been said that Hasbro has no plans to bring United Rumble and Frenzy to the US. The upcoming releases of TF Prime Rumble, as well as FoC Voyager Soundwave's Rumble and Frenzy, strongly suggests this to be true, as has been mentioned.
I was fortunate enough to snag a United Rumble and Frenzy at Botcon this past year for my Classics shelf. They are fantastic little figures, lots of fun, and I strongly recommend them. Personally, I think they make a much more accurate Classics Rumble and Frenzy than any of the upcoming releases with the same names.

they're very expensive for what they are. Frankly, if I'm going to go with the idea that the original alt modes are not going to happen, the PE versions are probably the most appealing. Even smaller than these guys, true, but much more Classics looking, and pretty awesome articulation, from what I can tell. Then again...we can always wait for the MP versions. If they fit inside G1 Soundwave then they're going to end up fairly well scaled for a Classicsverse Decepticon line-up.

Its been like two years already.......better try hunting for the United version but the prices at ebay are like too bloated(20%) aside, still too high.

I'm hoping they might see a release in 2013 under the Generations banner.

I wouldn't worry too much about them not getting released here. If you're patient, they'll make their way over here eventually. And yeah, we still don't know what 2013 holds for us yet.
