Was playing Foc and the something started to bug me. Alot of the characters seemed to be real scrunched down, especially Optimus. I had WFC and FOC side by side and it and idea hit me. Rip WFC legs off and stick on FOC.. A Perfect fit..

Also swapped the heads out too..not quite a perfect fit but it stays secure

Image

Side by side and head to head as tall as megatron

Was gonna post this in the custom forum but it didn't strike me as a custom..you really don't want to see what WFC prime looks like now..it's not pretty LoL 8-}

I agree, get Squattimus Prime pics up please! ;)

Talking of size comparisons, the recent FoC screen shots show Ultra Magnus as being considerably smaller than Perceptor? Whats all that about? :???:

Maybe it's a sign that Perceptor's not getting a toy, while Ultra Magnus is toy-accurate.

I think it looks even goofier now, with that little tiny torso.

Great idea. Now, who's legs can I put on FOC Shocky and Jazz?

And yeah, let's see that WFC Prime.

I think I saw a screenshot where Perceptor was labeled as a "Titan" class character. Doesn't seem right to me, either.

Better upgrade...put the FOC one in the closet, your toy box, wherever, and just use your WFC Prime instead. It's weird how much the aesthetics seem to have changed between the two games. I liked them much better in the first one.

Me too. Everybody (I think) knows Perceptor is a scientist. It's IDW's fault to change him in to a sniper, but he is still a scientist and being used that way.

Another me too. I quite don't understand and don't like the new FoC design of Optimus Prime. Besides the reason for Hasbro to make another toy.

Yes; Perceptor is "Titan" class while Ultra Magnus is "Destroyer" class (same as Optimus). Tanks are by definition Titans; just like "Scientists" are by definition aircraft. It's part of the game mechanics; especially the multi-player part. I imagine that they decided that Perceptor would have a tank alt mode (based on the character's history) and dropped him into the game's existing class accordingly.

Obviously, the character functions as a scientist (historically as well as in the game); that just doesn't happen to be the character class his alt mode fits into.
