Hasbro TRU MP Optimus Prime instructions?

I opened my MP-10 a few nights ago and there were no instructions in the bottom of the box or in the cardboard box that rests under the trailer. I even entertained the idea that they were IN the trailer for a moment. Did I get hosed on instructions? Does it even come with them? I haven't removed the outer plastic shell of the box from the cardboard base, but I'm doubting it's in there. Halp!

That's not the problem, I know how to transform him. I just want instructions if they're supposed to be included.

He does come with instructions, as do all Transformers, except for the ones that don't! I mean, they SHOULD have them, but sometime they get left out. My voyager battle blades RotF OP didn't have them. They're normally available online as a PDF so you could print your own.

Yeah, I was pretty sure they were left out. Can't say I've ever heard of any TFs without instructions. Well crap, my OCD can't handle this..

Thanks for the link, Mykltron. I'll print one off and pretend I found them in the box.

So, for the heck of it, I got on Hasbro chat support to see if there was any chance of getting the standard instruction sheet rather than a print off. They're going to mail them to me in 7-10 business days. It was said that there is a chance I will get a copy/printed version, but they would try their best to get the real deal. So we'll see. I won't be heart broken if it's just a copy, but I wanted to give it a shot.
Maybe I'm a bit of a whiner for this, but damn, for $100 I want my paper

. I like to have my booklets just as much as a missile to a weapon.

I'm with you Pigbeard. (That sounds really funny to say out loud.)
If I pay my money, I want everything that comes with it.

That's good of them to send it to you. We just have to hope that their ability to send you the instructions isn't as retarded as their toy exchange policy...

I like having "complete" figures in my collection, and that includes the instructions. I would be upset if I bought a new MISB figure, ESPECIALLY a MASTERPIECE figure, and found the instructions to be missing. Youtube videos and PDFs printed at home are not acceptable substitutions.

I thought mine was mising the intructions as well, but i found mine buried in the packaging. I had to take out the all the trays and inserts to find it. The plastic tray Prime was in, the cardboard platform his trailer was on, and the background cardboard pieces so all I had was the clear outer box and the cardboard base, and there they were. If you still have the box, check there. At least they are sending you a replacement though!

Yes, if it was a deluxe or voyager I could shrug it off a lot easier. I will definitely post what happens when it comes in the mail.

I completely broke down the box last night and no luck. Glad that you only had a brief scare, I'm curious how many MP OP's had this happen.

Not to go off-topic, but I'd much rather deal with a missing instructions manual than what happened to mine. Had a stroke of black paint on the roof of his truck mode, and missing red paint apps below the truck's headlights.
And it was a Takara version, too, which means I paid top dollar for it.

Just to update, I never received instructions (print off or original). I might try and contact Hasbro again this week, might not.

My OCD would be in overdrive. Doesn't matter if it cost $1 or $100. Hope they mail them out to you soon, again, for the second time

My MP 10 had two right rear lights on his feet before I had it changed. So I'm not surprised this one lacked the manual.
