Looks good, but I must say that I still like my Hasbro version better. Hasbro Dreadwing's colors are much more show accurate. However, the arms micron actually looks pretty good. It is much better than the powerizer/gimmick/thingy that Hasbro gave us.

Also, with these colors and the look of the arms micron, TT's Dreadwing looks an awful lot like Beast Wars Depthcharge! :-?

I don't see this one better than Hasbro ones in terms of colors. If only some, the color of the crotch and hands is perhaps less crude here. But I think not even the AM is that appealing in this case. Even more, the clear plastic orange extension of the cockpit is useless without the light of the so-called cannon of the already released Dreads, and I don't see takara selling it loose like with AMs.

Someone needs to give Jiku to Fun Pub Depth Charge right away (as soon as that figures comes out, that is). ;)

Problem, the Terradive mold has 3mm hands, not 5mm. :(

Any 5mm pegs or holes (even screw holes) on his body for Jiku to attach to?

Not that I'm aware of, though I don't own the mold.

I got it somewhere. I'll have to dig it out and take a look if I can.

I'm surprised. No Micron ports? Really? O_o

I can't believe they just imported a straight up Hasbro mold. Wow.

It looks okay, but there's not enough difference or improvement for me not to get the Hasbro version.
It really does scream Depthcharge though.

They did the same for Kup, only that mold already had enough ports to begin with.

So Jiku's crystal is "Mystic"? How mysterious. And the Claw Spear actually looks decent for a Combo Weapon.

Same here. I really dig the the shade of blue used. I should have just saved and got this version instead of Hasbro's. Still might get him, though.

Just got mine today. I did like the Hasbro Dreadwing colors a bit better, but the rubber on Takara Dreadwing is much more solid. No real differences otherwise...hard to say which I like better since they both have their pros & cons. If it were easy (and the figures were cheaper) I'd almost like to just take the rubber parts from the AM put them onto the Weaponizer one. lol...

Does anyone have comparison pics of the 2 versions together?

The Hasbro mold's got the upper hand here; it's simply a numbers game.

Hasbro:
More show accurate colors
Significantly cheaper
Sword actually decent in show representation

Takara:
Very cool Micron

The problem I'm having is that the Hasbro release still hasn't come out in the UK, and there's not much $/£ between the two versions as I'd have to import. And with Beast Hunters stuff reportedly already hitting the shelves in the US, the window of availability on getting hold of Dreadwing is rapidly closing.

Iceland has a better selection (TFsource article) of Transformers than the UK lol
