:CON: TF PRIME RID BREAKDOWN CONFIRMED HASBRO RELEASE!

There's some subtle difference between the Hasbro and Takara version. Image below!

Seriously, would you buy that RiD Bulkhead repaint if it was true? Strangely, I would. Having First Edition Bulkhead, there's big differences enough to justify a purchase. ;)

Misleading title is misleading.

It's a nice 'shop-job though.

Allow me some light trolling.
Nevertheless, I'd buy it. Would you?

I dont know that character, but it could be good too. The RiD Bulkhead mold is so different than the FE, with just another head, color, and weapons, it could be anything worth buying.

Brushguard was a repaint of cybertron overhaul back in 2006.

he was a lighter blue but this color works out great. I'm torn between getting this mold or the FE. Both looks great. and many people gave the tfp bulkhead a decent review. :-?

Not really, but that's only because I'm not collecting the Prime line.

A part of me does not want hasbro to issue it now... Since I recently forked out $53+US to acquire the AM one.

Although, for the rest of the kids, that could KINDA pass.

Overquoting to tell you, GET BOTH. FE Bulkhead is a work of art and the most show accurate. What more, he's only 25$ at TrU or the BBTS. As of the RiD mold, his only fault is the fault of the entire line, meaning his stupid weapon. The bot and vehicle still look nice and he's a lot of fun to transform. Also, available anywhere... for now.

No. That's as pathetic as repainting and retooling Knock Out for Smokescreen. My AM-12 Breakdown is enough, and I doubt Hasbro could top it.

I'm all for them doing the mold as a different character, but...well I've voiced my opinion on what I think of the Bulkhead version.

The mold itself isn't awful, frankly I'd buy that if it were real. It makes a MUCH better Breakdown than Bulkhead. #-o

AM-12 is the ONLY voyager figure in this line that doesn't utilize translucent plastic in his elbow joints.

So f**k no!

That's because AM and PRiD are two different lines sharing molds. Breakdown was the first Japanese original mold.

And Unicron is around Voyager scale, although I don't remember if he is an official Voyager. There's also the Breakdown repaint - Swerve. So, Breakdown isn't the only Voyager in the line like that.

I would not buy it, because it looks nothing like Breakdown and I'm collecting show characters.

No, I wouldn't buy it. I wouldn't even want a free one. That's not Prime Breakdown.

While I don't like the idea, I can actually see Hasbro doing something like that in Universe 5.0 in 2018 or whatever. Aaron Archer will be all like "OOOOOOOOOOOH!" and then everyone will start chanting "BREAK-DOWN, BREAK-DOWN" and the ghost of Chris Latta will ride in on a Unicorn and say, "We weren't proud of you" and publicly destroy the mold before it can be released. :BOOM:

Still doesn't change that they got it right.
And Unicron is around Voyager scale, although I don't remember if he is an official Voyager.

Ugh, don't remind me of that abomination... besides, he doesn't even have proper hands and he transforms through parts leprosy.
There's also the Breakdown repaint - Swerve. So, Breakdown isn't the only Voyager in the line like that.

First of all I don't count repaints since they share the same mold anyway, thus it goes without saying. Secondly, it's Swerve... he's the lowest common denominator for red repaints, so his existence is hardly even worth noting.

Point is I'm avoiding the powerizers like the plague due to that elbow joint issue, and if they release breakdown over here using one of those molds, then quite clearly it's a lost cause to me.

I'd buy it for novelty's sake and because FE Bulkhead's such a good toy, but that's just not Breakdown no matter how you look at it.

All I see is Breakdown cosplaying as Bulkhead.

It's still technically a Voyager. It should count.

You're ignoring every other Prime Voyager without translucent elbows and focusing in on Breakdown because he's the only one you like? Then your original point is invalid.

Beast Optimus Prime, Predaking, FE Prime, FE Bulkhead, PRiD Megatron (yeah, his elbows are not translucent). :-|

Okay, fine, so he's not the ONLY voyager in this line without translucent f**king elbows! Happy?! Godd*mn technicalities... :BANG_HEAD:

He's still the only one worth his weight in plastic besides the FEs though, and if he was given the body of one of the no-hoper powerizers just to ensure a presence overseas I'd still let it rot on the toy isle shelf with the rest of the bumblebees!

Breakdown's plastic is actually rather cheap for a Voyager, not to mention his height. Still a great figure, worth the import, but not up there with the FEs in terms of quality.

I've had it in hand it he's rather deplorably small. I'd seriously consider importing him if he actually felt bigger than a deluxe (which he does not). :\

That's one more reason for me NOT to import it. The first one being the absurd price. For me, a "regular" Transformers is not worth double or triple the price of one you can find in store. That's why I dont and wont own DotM deluxe Que, Soundwave, and Leadfoot. I only made an exception for DotM HA Soundwave because of my Soundwave display and the fact that he's freaking awesome. Plus, a small Laserbeak to go with HftD Legend Ravage!

To go back to Prime Breakdown, I admit it, the price is not really an issue. It's mainly because I dont care enough about the character. I thought of having the Cyberverse version but I passed because he's stupidly a Legion instead of a Commander.
