I'm just saying this. It is more of a dismissal, not a dispute. The same dismissal that had him go off-topic on any topic just to prove I was wrong, even though his claims cannot be validated. The same dismissal that had him not care that others, such as myself, come here to have fun only to be ridiculed anytime he wants to have what he says shine.
Want examples?
e-HOBBY's VSE set: Nobody I personally know follows Twitter. And I only follow the official sites and Facebook pages. All he had to do was say "look at the Twitter page" and I would have. Instead, he dismissed the fact I do not follow Twitter and made me feel like a fool in the process.
UNITED-EX: The first time, he wasted up to 4 hours of my birthday by saying "I don't get it." and "I'm confused." when I tried explaining something to him. The second time, he dismissed my computer issue (which I have mentioned) by ridiculing the fact I used Google's instant translator. He also dismissed the fact that I learned the concept of continuity from professional writers and screenwriters, as well as anime companies, and made me sound like an idiot for not agreeing with him.
Galvatron: Just to be right, and in a subject that was not about the character, he chose to dismiss two factors: One being the entire movie and the other being that his conclusion does not reflect the Japanese version of the series. So when I was citing events and facts from the movie, he dismissed it while citing stuff how a photo and the two English voice actors make him right.
Pryme, out of respect and the fact you did not realize that our introduction was based on me misreading something you said (and did openly apologize for it), I will say this - He does not dispute. He dismisses. Disputing requires some acknowledgement that the person has a different view. Dismissing has him just completely disregard what he needs to know just to obtain a goal.
And not liking? I defended him when another made this an issue when it comes to him! All we asked is that he eases up and just interact with the rest of us like he does with you. But instead, even when I agreed with him, it feels like he needs to defend his status. And that is how he came off - Especially after everything I have been put through with him.
So yes: I think what he said was correct. I think PRIME is the new Beast Wars. I think that they are adding elements from Hasbro's past works with everything that is post-Alternity. I just wish he would have acknowledged that, is all. And now, officially, I wonder if my 2013 will have me existing here if I have to defend myself when he is involved (first-hand or not)... Which is sad because I like the "fun convo" version of him.
