G1 Cassettes - 2 Quick questions...

Two quick questions:
the first I'm pretty sure I know the answer but just in case - do the G1 cassettes fit into Commemorative Edition Soundwave?

And 2 - were there ever any reissues of the cassettes that might be slightly more affordable than buying the actual G1 ones?

Third question update: presumably these are made to fit into Masterpiece Soundwave and not G1 http://www.robotkingdom.com/services/es ... 16&lang=us

but can anyone confirm this?

1. Yes

2. No. Most were sold out like 2 to 3 years ago in Encore form. At the 2ndary, good luck.

3. We'll know next year since MP Soundwave hasn't been released yet.

$43 for this lot.
It's a start at least

The mp cassettes will be the same size as the G1 cassettes, so you can use them in either

Oh sweet merciful Primus that's good news. The MP Frenzy looks a beaut.

I thought I remembered someone saying the MP cassettes will be thicker than G1, so they might not fit into G1 Soundwave, but G1 cassettes would fit into MP Soundwave. I really don't know, but maybe someone else might be able to confirm/deny?

I know that was said at some point, just can't remember when/where :BANG_HEAD:

I think we all should just be patient. Unless someone manages to sneak out a proto type MP Soundwave and do a comparison fit in for the sole purpose of comparison.

The casseticon btw are tentatively scheduled for end of Jan 2013 release so a month or two is just a blink of an eye.

Not quite a reissue, but the Ravage that came with Classics/Universe/Whatever Hound might be a good substitute.
