This maybe an old post however, I am semi-new to the game as far as collecting transformers figures.

I am going to start collecting figures based on the Transformers Prime TV show.

What sizes are the following sets below:

cyberverse legion class (my guess is 3-4 inches?)
cyberverse command class (my guess is 5-6 inches?)
Transformers Prime Robots in Disguise Deluxe Class (maybe like the cyberverse command class?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Answered right here, but for convenience:

Mini-Con: 2 inches
Legion: 3 inches
Commander: 4 inches

Deluxe: 5.5 inches
Voyager: 7 inches

One word of advice: do not obsess over scale, Hasbro doesn't give a flying flip.

Many thanks this helps a lot.. I was just about to mention something about the scale but i'll try not to get too crazy. I can understand with the command class that optimus and megatron would be larger than the characters in legion class however, its too bad they did not create a soundwave based on the prime show for legion or commander class. I noticed its for DOTM. The deluxe one is based on the tv show but seems silly to think he is taller and larger than megatron.. oh well like you said, should not obsess over scale

Hasbro are doing a legion class Prime Soundwave in the new Beast Hunters line. Colour scheme is love it or hate it though.

I like it =). When do these supposed to come out? Spring 2013 I am guessing in conjunction with season 3?

Hasbro takes the Deluxe and Voyager Class sizes as their main class sizes for figures of the show.

So any character in the show is going to show up in one of those 2 size classes.
Leaders and important characters usually get voyager sized figures. While the lesser characters, and characters with smaller alt modes will mostly get Deluxe class toys.

Legion and Commander class are their economy sizes. Which are smaller and have simpler transformations and less articulation, and so are cheaper.

Basically if you want the best scale stick with Deluxe and Voyager.

If you want a size that can interact with playsets, that's usually legion and commander.

Somewhat related but probably should be in the TV show section. I noticed that the sizes, even if its supposed to be in a certain class keeps growing small....just like in Beastwars.
