Came across this for the first time. a local vendor has in stock a new never opened 1985 Transformers Activity Center? I will admit, it looks to be very nice. But the whole center is made up of cardboard? Is this 1985 leftover crap or is it worth picking up?

I'm no expert in other TF merch from that period, but enough stuff pops up on this forum from time to time that I'm at least sort of aware of most of the big ticket items.

I've never seen this before. I think you've found something fairly rare. But is it well known enough to be valuable? I don't know.

Nice find though.

Wow, this is the third time I've seen this thing in the past 6 months. What's making them pop up suddenly?

And $90?! I'm sorry but that's just way too much, especially since it's indeed nothing but cardboard.

CollectionDX has a nice review on the set, it's worth a look:

Well I took the chance of this being a rare find and picked it up. I just found two on eBay beat to hell with missing parts and one was Listed for $129 and the other $85 with a bunch of offers. With mine being new never opened with the original seal wrap still on it, I think it would do well. A puzzle Co. named Warren made these, not sure how rare they are but it's no question from 1985. Do I have any takers at $1500.00, lol.

Well I took the chance of this being a rare find and talked him down to $75 cash. Not bad :) It's amazing what some people think their items are worth, it's almost saddening. O well, without those people we wouldn't have Pawn Stars
