So this may have been covered before but I haven't been on in a looong time. During the months leading up to Christmas I found ONE MP Optimus at a local TRU- probably because the box was damaged (figure was fine). I searched every week for one and never found one again. My question is why in the world could we not find an MP Optimus Prime when over the past couple years TRU's have been loaded with shelfwarming Rodimus Primes and now Thundercracker (literally 10+ at some local TRUs). It's like did they really not make that many or did Hasbro really undersell the demand for this? I doubt I'll ever find one now. Was ever any official word on this? Can we expect another shipment in the near future?

Two words.......Optimus Prime.

Scalpers, weird delivery arrangements, and TRU jacking up the price after initial demand on their website eliminated most of the first shipment... but mostly because it's a great figure, it's Optimus Prime, and we all want him, even if some of us bought extra copies to sell at inflated prices later.
