Does that RC Starscream actually fly well? I kinda want one but I've never been able to find it here and wondering if it's worth getting online

Got several favorites; Stascream, OP, and Bee (hey, I'm doing you all a favor here! ). I'd add Jazz and Megs to the list, but there aren't that many good figs of them, aside from RTF Special Ops Jazz and WFC Megs.

Ive gotten it to fly a bit, but not that well before it crashes.
Ive never been able to get it to lift off by itself though.
Its a bit fragile.
I bought mine new online years ago, pretty cheap I think.

I like it no matter what anyone says. I know the Radioshack stuff seemed
unpopular but there was some kool stuff.

Optimus Prime, haha. Just can't beat the big guy. Others I would say would be Jazz (though as has been said, there just aren't enough good Jazz's) and I've got a lot of good nostalgia (though not many figures of, sadly) for Sideswipe. If I ever see Classics Sideswipe at a reasonable price I'm gonna snatch it up! And I really hope Hasbro bites the bullet and gets the license for MP Sideswipe. Come to think of it, I could use Armada 'Wheeljack' as well.

I prefer figure diversity over a single character. If anything I have more Black Primes than any other character, but that's purely happenstance.

Not so much a character, but more a mold. Powermaster Prime. Only because we never got any more Ginrai molds.

I organize my shelves by series rather than character, but I enjoy Shockwave.

If we're talking molds now, I have every version of the RtS G2 Prime mold except for TFCC Scourge and it maddens me to no end!
Why?
Because that prime mold fits pretty convincingly on top of the RtS Wreck-Gar's motorcycle mold and only having Shattered Glass Prime and Magnus means one of my evil Junkions has no rider.

In terms of sheer number, the winner is the Prime Vehicon. I have 7 of the Hasbro PRID mold, plus one AM-14. I have 5 Cyberverse, 3 Jet Vehicons, 2 Generals on preorder, and the FE Vehicon.

In terms of character and total variations of molds, the winner is Optimus Prime, if one includes black repaints and alternate versions of the character, or Soundwave, if one does not include black repaints and alternate versions of the character.

I wish Shockwave had a few more molds for me to play with, but at least the figure's he's received are mostly great quality. Shockwave wins for greatest number of failed attempts at custom figures littering my closet.

I honestly cannot say I ever considered getting one character because it's that character.
As others have said, I tend to go by series or sub-faction (TFA was Elite Guard, plus a couple others, but not the main cast, for example).

It so happens that I have one more Optimus Prime (Classics, HftD, Prime, WfC, RtS, G1 (reissue)) than Soundwave (Animated, Prime, WfC, RotF, Kreon), but no intentional effort was made there.
I have less than 100 figures, anyway, so we're talking small numbers here!

Soundwave: Masterpiece Takara MP-13, Generations Deluxe, Classics/Commemorative Voyager, San Diego Comic Con 2009 Voyager, Cybertron Voyager, Revenge of the Fallen Deluxe (from TRU "Gathering at Nemesis" 3 pack), ROTF Cyberverse Legion (from Walmart 3 pack), Dark of the Moon Deluxe (just found it on ebay), Prime Deluxe, and most recently... ashamed as I am to admit this... Beast Hunters Deluxe.


I do like both characters quite a lot.

I'll be going against the grain here and not say Starscream or Optimus Prime. My favorite character for collecting is Wheeljack Every time I see him I go "Gotta have him!", I even drooled at Beast Hunters Wheeljack despite me deciding against any Autobot or Decepticon figures in the line. So far I have:

- G1 Wheeljack (vintage 1991 EU reissue)
- Superlink Wheeljack (aka Energon Downshift)
- Generations Wheeljack
- Prime Wheeljack (plus his retool Dead End)

No Slicers yet tho.

Smokescreen comes in second place. Of him I have:

- Cybertron Smokescreen (which I repurposed as "G1 Rad" for now)
- RotF Smokescreen
- Arms Micron Smokescreen

Nobody else, really, except... I have a weakness for jets and helicopters

I somehow neglected to mention Warpath and Wheeljack in my original post, this is terrible! I rounded out my Warpath trio (G1, Universe, and Generations) with his Legends figure over Christmas break thanks to board member Gigangoji! I was really glad to find him and someone not asking a ridiculous price. And come to think of it, I think Wheeljack is my second most collected character if only by a slim margin(Cybertron Downshift, Gen Wheeljack, Prime Legion Wheeljack, and BH Wheeljack [also PRiD Dead End]).

JelZe, I'd say if you find BH Wheeljack on sale, snag him up, it's a very fun mold! Those wings are very, very cool, and he can hold his 'spear' like a gun thanks to his wrist swivels...which frankly makes way more sense giving the size of it.

I also like megs and prime. Nothing new here. Seems everyone loves screamer and prime.
So blurz? You never told us who you like to collect pal. LOL!!

I do my best not to collect many versions of the same character. Usually it's just the G1 then a classics. If a decent classics doesn't exist, than a respectable mold from another line usually fills in but that doesn't happen very often if ever.

But if they actually pumped out some decent Dinobots more often than they do(which is never) than i'd probably buy multiple molds of the whole team.

I do have a tiny collection of Grimlocks though. Threw away Classics Grimlock cause he sucked and FOC was a fail in my opinion. But i have a G1,G2, Animated and an MP Grimmy.

Not religiously, but I've gravitated towards a few Wheeljacks and Shockwaves in my time. I think I have a pair of Skywarps as well.

I every Ultra Magnus, Nemesis prime and Seeker mold i could find. Well other than Titaniums. Only because i dont like owning junk lol. I bought four of those and said never again.
