Will any body ever make proper Deluxe Classics style Monsterbots? I'm desperate to see if a 3rd party will ever grapple these engineering enigmas and pull off something coherent and totally savage and grotesquely monstrous. So much potential with this team. True anti-heroes if there ever where any.
I was happy too see em in the comics recently but that's not really enough for me. I need a Classics mold of the team.And for that matter. With this new Beast Hunters menace looming over the horozin. Do not the autobots need some real maniac beasties of their own to fend off this new enemy? I say bring on the obscure autobot beasts to combat this new scourge back into the forefront.




These are customs but a great example of how good they can be.

I'd love to see these guys done properly. Doubt Hasbro will do it though (please prove me wrong Has )

I've resurrected this one from the dead. The Monsterbots.....the dark underbelly of the Autobot cause. The uglier than ugly. I would love a 3rd party to pick this team up and put out some Classics style figs of these guys.
I'm honestly probably grasping for straws on this one. Nobody can even make a decent set of Dinobots let alone an obscure team of weirdo mutants.

+ fire breathing action ala cigar lighter flint effects! That will be awesome!

Back when this thread was made, I'd have said no way. But now, with the comic packs and anniversary showing that some oddball stuff -is- going to happen, such as Scoop, you really can't rule these guys out anymore. That said, I can see them doing one and moving on.

Repugnus' Universe profile was in one of the comics I had as a kid, so I read about him and how all the Autobots treated him as bad as, or worse than a Decepticon, cause he was a bit messy.

Actually, now that I think about it, I kinda hope he's on the Lost Light, and for some reason has to share a room with Ultra Magnus.

The other two looked okay, but it was Repugnus that appealed to me most. Doublecross always looked like a long-lost Dinobot and Grotusque...well, he screams out Fangry repaint/retool to me.
