I want more Autobots! :)

It's a pity there are more Decepticons than Autobots in the Deluxe line. I only see more Autobots than Decepticons in the Scout class line.

I am really hoping for a big Autobot to come about. Sure, Prime and Ironhide are pretty formidable, but I was thinking more "heavy ordinance" stuff for this new line (Skyblast technically is one of them, but he is still only Scout - not that thats bad). You know, a big plane or a military thingy.

Just my 2 cents. If there are such "heavy artillery" Autobots out there for this line so far, I haven't seen them.

decepticons have been outnumbered all the time. its good that they have larger numbers here.

well when Ironhide is introduced in the movie he's the weapons ordinance specialist.

Ratchet - Medic
Bumblebee - Recon (since he was there first)
Ironhide - Heavy Weapons
Jazz - honestly not sure on this one.

Bumblebee is a lot more powerful and warrior-like than he used to be. And G1 redeco Jazz seems to be the resurrected version of the original 2007 Jazz and since he has a sword and shield, I guess he is pretty good warrior.

Jazz was always the Second in Command type in the original series, haven't seen the movie, but I suspect it's more of the same here.

I miss Scatman Crothers.

Yep... makes the movie more dramatic if the heroes are up against unimaginable odds. At least the Decepticons still have individual personalities and aren't simple drones like Stormtroopers or Cobra Soldiers or any number of other nameless cannon fodder types.

Mind you I like the Decepticons as much as anyone else. But looking from the toyline of so many cool Autobots from the Cybertron, many of whom, like Red Alert and Metroplex, were extremely powerful and big (or had big weapons), I think the movie line would benefit from characters like this.

BTW anyone know when redeco 2007 G1 Jazz is out?

September, I believe, as a Target exclusive.

Hmm, wasn't the line for the Movie Trailer something like, some will come to defend us, most will come to destroy us?

Very true, but my main point is that it would be nice to have some Autobots that were'nt just using their vehicle modes as 'disguises'. Some could use theirs as weaponry or artillery.

Meh, I see where you are coming from. However, I'm not into stuff that isn't featured in the movie, so I really can't empathize too much.

However, going forwards, it would definately be cool to see the modes you mentioned in the next movie. And then, I would love to see that toy.

Yeah we could have an Autobot who does not agree with Optimus's generally "respond and fight back" stance. Armourhide might be an example.

And that is true - I want to see such an Autobot featured in a novel, book, or next movie - and I want the toy too.
