Acrylic risers - where to get

I got some Detolf display cabinets for my collection, and I'd like to get some acrylic display stands to raise some of my figures up a few inches. I've seen them for sale on a few websites, but I was wondering if anyone could suggest a good site to order from. Here's what I'm talking about:

I've found mine is store supply shops, that sell display pieces to businesses. Do a search in your area for Store Supplies or some similar phrase.

Thanks, that's a good idea and I hadn't thought of that. I was going to order them online, but it would be better if I could see them in person.

Aye, I was going to do the same until I discovered a small shop in my neck of the woods that did that sort of thing. I was quite pleased and have used their wares often.

How is the quality of those detolf cabinets? Im maxed out right now and thinking of getting some since they are relatively cheap. Unfortunately I dont have a Ikea store close but Im going to KC in a couple of months so I can get a couple.

From the dimensions, they dont seem like they can hold a lot.

they have them on ebay.. not sure if the price is good compared to if you were to get them locally. but you really need to pay attention to the dimensions cause those pics don't really tell you how they'll look in your detolf.

Acrylic risers, eh!

I know a man who could custom create lovely acrylic risers (cases and coasters too) ;) http://www.seibertron.com/energonpub/viewtopic.php?f=143&t=91670

I will have a word with my brother-in-law to see what he can come with! :D

The Ikea Detolf glass display cases are wonderful, really classy looking and cheap too. I have seen some of the photos from folk on this fansite, where they have several Detolf cases along a wall, full of Transformers and they look fabulous! :P

Displaying some figures, such as Deluxe class, leaves a void in each section, so the use of a couple of 'risers' here and there would make for an awesome display of loveliness!

Found this suggestion in a thread on another board. This is what I plan on getting for my shelves and displays when I get around to buying some. Plus, since these brick and mortar stores are fairly common, you can see them in person.
