whats up with this feature on blackout?

ok, so last night i was fiddling around with blackout and i noticed that the blades and tail of his vehicle mode come off, and that you can turn the blade section 90 degrees forward. anyone found a use for this yet? and also, why are there minicon pegs on his shoulders?

Somewhere near the back of the underside of the top bit, there is a hole, this fits over the 'minicon peg'.
The round bit on the front goes in Blackout's hand (once the thing has been bent down). Rotor weapon.
It's in his instructions you know (I know, I feel dirty looking at those too, but i dont wanna break my swanky new toys, especilly when they're as complex as some of the movie toys).

I believe it's supposed to emulate the way Blackout weilds his rotor blades like a giant buzz saw, like what we see in one of the
Boss Battle Previews for the game. Personally, it looks he's wheeling a bazooka or a large fan in the toy.

I tried using this so called weapon on Blackout. It doesn't work too well with mine.
Overall, I don't like my Blackout.
