Repairing G1 parts etc
Posted: Fri Mar 01, 2013 5:08 amI just want to share some attempts at refurbishing my G1 and MP TF figs.

Though I can personally vouch for some of my interventions, do take care and try it on your junker first.
1.Johnson ans Johnson GLO metal polish: Avoid some spillage on the non metal parts but it is effective(though temporarily) on MP-05 cosmic rust feet.
2.Armor on effective in preventing rubber rut on G1 autobot car wheels(including the penny racers),Starconvoy's tank threads and G1 Shockwave's hose.
Another application to my surprise is Rodimus Prime's blast shields. I lost my unit's original thanks to my stooopid sister in law throwing some of my TF stash (including the box and biocard). So I was forced to get a pair at ebay. The sample I won was kind of scratched. So I applied Armor on to it with a DVD cloth cleaner and voila.....no more scratches.
Hopefully, I'll be try H202 on by Countdown rocket once I find the time.
