Ok if you are like me you had transformers as a kid but didn't collect them. Now though as an adult you do so here is the question. What are some of the Transformers you had as a kid that you wish you still had now but don't. Whether from you mom getting rid of them, they braking and being thrown away. to just you got tired of them and sold or gave them away.

Finally a toy-related question I don't have to think about too much!
For me, it has to be
Beast Wars Optimus Prime and Megatron.

I have no idea how I got hold of them, but I remember very well how they disappeared. I was on a holiday with my dad and sister, and I used to play with them under the bed in our hotel room. I played with them every day for the whole week, only to then get back in the car to go home, and realise on arrival that they weren't with me!

They were left under the bed, and we couldn't go back. We called the hotel to see if someone had found them, but nothing came out of it. I still miss those two.

For me it was G1 Hound, Trailbreaker, and Astrotrain.
Fast forward 30 years later and luckily I was able to find near C8-9-ish versions of them on Ebay.
Ah, childhood all over again!

It makes me sick to think about what I used to have as a kid but don't anymore, especially Omega Supreme and Shockwave.

I still miss my G2 Go-bots. You know, the ones that have been repainted time and time again into various spychanger molds. I had all the G2 colours of those.
The robot modes were pretty cheap, even my the standards of the day, but the car modes, oh did they ever roll nice! I made Hot Wheels tracks specifically for those little guys.

I remember I sold off lots of my Transformers as a kid so I could buy ninja turtles Doh!
All of what i sold off was G1, which included Scorpinok, Mindwipe, Skullcruncher and Metroplex.
The more i think about this, the sadder I'm getting

In principal I still have most of my childhood transformers, and I've found most of them from digging through boxes in the basement, but there's one that I just haven't been able to find! BW Airrazor, though I found her gun. She's the only one I can think of I've been seriously unable to track down. She's somewhere down there, I don't doubt.

My Ultra class Beast Wars Optimus Primal and Scorponok. The latter was missing his cyberbee (the damn thing never stayed in anyway) and the former was missing his missiles, but I wish I'd kept them. I still have a set of Season 3 Predacons in my display, so I kept my favorite figures from the line, but I do miss having the first "big" toys I ever had.

Snapdragon. He's the only one I haven't replaced. He's pretty damn expensive these days. But he was one of my favorite figs when I was a kid.

G1 Mirage.
Was accidentally donated to an orphanage when moving out for renovations 15 years ago, including all my childhood toys that were in the same box.
Still hurts to think about it.

G1 Tantrum, I have no idea how I lost it but I remembered how I've got it. My aunt got it for all my cousins, each 1 with 1 Predacon. I happen to have the bull!! Good thing the 2010 Predaking got released and now I've gotten the whole set! But I wished I still had that, the only transformer toy I remembered.. (had others too but can't remember)

I have about 4 left from my childhood original:
G2 Megatron
G2 oil tanker prime
G2 Skyquake
G1 Scorponok
Some little ones and a few others,Its a shame but what is done is done. Another regret I have is selling a mib Trypticon which was in really good condition too expensive to buy now sadly.

G1 Beachcomber is the only one I lost. I still have the other 50+.
A friend gave me a battered G1 Sideswipe when I was a kid but my parents made me give it back as they thought he'd change his mind. I pretended to give it back but they knew I was lying so made me give it back for real. He either threw it away or gave it to someone else. I wish I'd managed to keep it.

All my G2 cyber jets... fell apart and thrown away, or left in a sandbox out in god knows where...

Technically I haven't gotten rid of any figures yet (yet being the key word, as I just started using ebay) but I did cancel my pre-order on Fort Max

Had the pre-order in for months and I still want him really badly, but I also really want to travel. And traveling, seeing the world, kind of beats out having a figure, no matter how much I want it.
$300 goes a long way to buying a plane ticket...

As I kid I had Transmetal Cheetor, Transmetal Waspinator, transmetal tarantulas and a whole bunch of other beast war figures. wish I still had them but for some strange reason I refuse to rebuy them. I'm currently started to look at beast war figures and brought some here and there but I refuse to buy anything I had as a child. Memories of them were awesome I don't want to ruin it by my higher expectations I would have now as a collector.
