A biased opinion, though I concur.

Kinda yes but the Bumblebee has some bad flaws.

Both look cool, but because I hate Starscream and like Bumblebee better I would go with Bumblebee though it does have some problems. But this choice is really up to you.

What it sounds like it that the Bumblebee toy has some problems, but the Hasbro Mp-o3 problems are as yet unknown. But I would say if Hasbro does not have QC problems like Takara did with the regular Mp-o3, you could try getting the Hasbro Mp-o3. But I am biased, as I really like Starscream, and I have never seen the Bumblebee you are talking about.
But I think the Hasbro Mp Starscream would be good to get, personally.

I've seen it in mperson and it is impressive, don't go by some crappy youtubr video that someone took after steailng it from a factory so they could e-bay it.

I personally can't decide because i haven't Transformed Ultimate BumbleBee yet. I personally don't like MP Starscream, I got him, transformerd him, then put him back in the box. Though I do like his new color scheme and the price point is good.

Have i missed something? Is MP Screamer gonna be released in retail stores worldwide by hasbro, or can you still only get the takara version from ebay or some other website?

I have never been a Screamer fan, and always a BB fan, and I am passing on BB and getting Screamer. If that helps.

At $60, any MP figure is a good price. Add on the paint job we've all been wanting and Screamer is a dream come true. The electronic Bumblebee does nothing for me personally at that scale and I don't really care about lights and sounds. The choice is very easy for me. Besides, the 08 deluxe Bumblebee will be more than enough for me.

Oh well, it'll remain just as hard to buy over here in the UK in that case then.

I'm gonna say Starscream too. For BB, I don't care about lights and sounds, the doors held on by cables, and his movie design enough to warrant buying that toy.

At least you will be able to find him in shops. :P

Anyways, wheres all this negative vibe come from about 08 bumbles? I thought he was supposed to be like a mini masterpiece.

I like 08 Bumblebee, but this version has a gun for a hand (doesn't transform)... if I get it, I will probably leave it in car mode, because I think the Camaro is HOT, much hotter than the 'bot mode!

The complaints I thought were from a not properly tranformed version of the Ultimate BB.
