Yeah I've had enough of all these teaser pics but I admit this latest one is a good one. The way I figure to take down this leviathan we need FP Bruticus, Maketoys Devastator, and FP Menasor to take down Metroplex piece by piece...'nuff said! :VEHI:

OK, that's quite a size difference. The only reason I can wait for this guy to come out is the price.

I have the (new?) Kabaya figure. It's decently sized but would be all for an IDW styled Voyager Max. Put him in the same wave as Tarn and I'll not moan about Hasbro again for a year.

Ha. Yeah, if they label him IDW Fort Max and add a headmaster gimmick, I'll grin. I'd still hope for a full size Titan later though!

Same wave as Tarn and Star Saber.

I like how we're assuming Hasbro will answer our calls and make toys of Fortress Maximus, Tarn (let's just go ahead and throw in the remainder of the Decepticon Justice Division while we're at it), and Star Saber. :P

I'm really not assuming that. Are you assuming that? I'd like a modern Star Saber, but since he's not really been in the IDW books, I'd rather Dai Atlas first. (and a Deluxe Jihaxus to round out the Golden Age Avengers, why not?)
I'd like it. I'll be surprised if it happens any time soon, but then I was pleasantly surprised to see Gen Springer, Blitzwing and Trailthinger so anything can happen. I would expect figures of characters Hasbro created themselves first though, before any IDW originated creations, but then again, we got Drift...and hell, who could have foreseen Metroplex getting a toy this big at all? I've learned to stop expecting anything from Hasbro unless it's a relatively obvious repaint, and even those don't get done all the time.

That thing is much larger than I expected.

You must've missed out on this, then.

If Hasbro decides to produce a toy based off these designs, and, if possible, it can pull off a Brainmaster-ception gimmick like the Victory toy, you better believe that thing would be bought.

And correctin myself earlier, it's deluxe class sized.

That is the one I have! And who is this guy doing the review?? He's hilarious!

"Miles Bennet Killbison!"

Ah, he's known as Thew. He's hilarious and straight to the point. Doesn't pull a single punch. Absolutely entertaining.

Agree, he's easily the best reviewer on youtube, it's a shame he doesn't do reviews more often.

Man you guys got me all excited. I thought I read that IDW Star Saber and Tarn would be released in the same wave and I just frantically searched the news and this thread to see if you guys were serious...

Then I realized it was just Wishful Thinking...

Anyways: DANG HE'S HUGE!!! I had to look up a review for the original Metroplex just to get somewhat of a size reference! If anyone gets this guy, I think you might have to make sure you have a separate bedroom to store the guy!

Amidst all the teasers so far from TFYuki for Generations Metroplex, we finally get something new to look at. Seen previously as just a small image on a box, we finally get a good look at his buddy Scamper. Not only do we get Generations Scamper, we get a comparison to his G1 self. The image has been mirrored for you.

Scamper looks pretty solid for a little guy, but some paint apps would be nice.

That looks smokey black to me too. :-?

In any case, this doesn't look like the final product, judging from the head.

Agreed.

I don't recall seeing anything that even resembles a paint app on Metroplex. Hasbro might be a bit stingy when it comes to them, but even they aren't that bad. These look like an unpainted prototype that is being used purely for scale and not for showing us the final product.

I like what I've seen so far, but wish the city mode hid the bot head and limbs better.

I have G1 Metroplex, but I don't have a G1 Scamper, so if anyone's willing to give me theirs, send me a message and I'll give you my address details.
