It appears we finally have our first teaser image for Takara Tomy's mysterious Transformers Go! GO1 Kenzan Samurai (police car), GO2 Jinbu Samurai (jet), and GO3 Ganoh Samurai (fire truck) figures. From what we understand these brand new Autobot molds will be Japaneses exclusives that feature a combining gimmick as well light and sound. Just going off the outlines, the one on the left resembles Optimus Primal and the one in the middle looks like Star Saber.

I'm really hoping they'll be a homage to Dia Atlas, Sonicbomber and Roadfire. They probably won't be, but a guy can hope.

These sound really interesting. Not liking the Japan-exclusivity though... Hopefully it won't stay exclusive long, like the Generations Asian Exclusives?

I'm not a weeaboo. And I never will be. (I think I'd have to watch Evangelion to earn that title, and I tried once... Urgh, was THAT a mistake...)

But saying that a ninja and a samurai are the same thing is just factually wrong. Samurai wear armor and thus are too heavy to do the crazy gymnastic **** most often associated with ninjas.

That said, I don't see why people are getting so excited over blurry sihouettes.

Hope to God one of the three is a Dai Atlas homage...

I find it hilarious and saddening at the same that people like to discriminate others based on their likes and hobbies. Unless you're trolling, being part of a subculture yourself, I'd think you'd be more sensitive and respectful of other's cultures.

It's not that difficult, Samurai were knights, warlords of nobility who were military leaders and political figures. Ninja were assassins and members of secretive criminal organisations.

Come on Takara, play fair. Surely the original listing of these figures was the first teaser. Kindly stop toying with us.

Sabrblade's right (as usual): it does look a lot like DA. Other than the head, it's very blocky (it could be the quality of the teaser).
