TFYuki has tweeted some in-hand images of Takara Tomy's Transformers Generations TG-15 Autobot and TG-16 Decepticon Data Discs sets. TG-15 consists of Rewind, Eject, Ramhorn, & Sunder. TG-17 consists of Frenzy, Rumble, Ravage, & Ratbat. All feature the lines signature metallic paint apps. Images mirrored below.

Except for Ratbat being a darker shade of purple, I really can't see much difference in the figures themselves.

That last picture make me wonder if we might possibly ever get repaints of the Discbots as Rosanna, Glit, Howlback, Garboil, Flip Sides, etc... I mean....if they can bring Sunder/Sundor into a less-obscure continuity via a repaint, why not do it with others?

I think they'll probably stop there. If we see Glit at all, it'd be as some sort of exclusive or incentive figure.

Five cassettes for the Autobots is more than I thought we'd get. Unless there's demand for more of these deployers and more obscure characters, I'm pretty sure HasTak are done.

I'm not a big fan of these disc things. They were designed more for the gimmick than to actually look good. My Soundwave, Soundblaster. and Twincast all have Perfect Effect minions. What I really want to see is images of Takara Blaster I have on pre-order. That's gonna be nice.

Rumble and Frenzy also have their names switched. Hasbro = FIRRIB, Takara = RIRFIB. ;)
