This is a very interesting question and one I hope to work into my relationship with my first born son, Daniel.
Like many of us on these boards, I grew up throughout the 70s and enjoyed the fun of transforming robots through the 80s.
The shift into my teens, moving to the south of the U.K with my family then starting work, toys where stored away for a while then later sold off at Car Boot Sales or given to Charity Shops, I let life take over.
I continued to collect the U.K. and U.S. comic books which I still own to this day. Those will never leave me!
I think it was the introduction of the 'Alternators' and 'Classics' lines which brought the toys back in to my life but I seem to recall seeing previous lines in stores.
Having love for the original toys when I was a child and my later adult collection which I now only display, made me think of any children I would have and
would I encourage my love of Transformers to be enjoyed by them too?
I will of course be introducing the world of Transformers to my son when he is old enough as he is only 6 weeks old right now!
Perhaps ease him in with some faction logo bibs or suits moving to some of the plush soft toys!
