Should the 2007 Transformers adventures be more outrageous?

Should the Transformers of the current continuity have more "galactic" adventures like they did in the Cybertron series, where they travelled to distant planets and encountered new Transformers?

No-they should be having a civil war not gallivanting around the place like their on holidays.

Plus the Unicron Trilogy sucked, lets not have anything reminiscent of that.

I see. I haven't watched the series. Superficially I thought the adventures spanning it were pretty epic.

I'm not all about being only earthbound either. A nice healthy mix is good. However, what I don't like is when the human characters start telling the TFs how to win their war, and what exactly to do when they are battling, etc... I wonder if Transformer intelligence is actually lower than humans as a baseline? Like if you have a Transformer intelligence of 10 that's less than an average human intelligence or something... :-?

What they need is a proper war on Cybertron.

A good couple of episodes of them blowing themselves and small parts of Cybertron up before they bugger off on an intergalactic cruise would be nice.

Just redo the old Marvel comics like the Ninja Turtles toon did with the Eastman and Laird comics.

True. When I read the episodes synopses of Galaxy Force/Cybertron it also "feels" more epic because the Autobots are going on galactic adventures with 3 kids for the main characters. People think kids are nuisances, and I don't blame Ironhide if he hates kids too, but being 18 and just starting this Transformers collecting hobby, I say, make it more epic!

Should focus mainly on Earth/Cybertron. The humans need to travel to Cybertron and WITNESS a massive battle between the Autobots and Decepticons. Then they start summoning other Transformers scattered throughout the universe. Or something like that. Make it a truly cosmic adventure.

I'm pretty sure this topic's in the wrong forum, but anyway...
...They need to ditch humans for awhile.

Transformers sometimes look REALLY stupid next to human characters, so go the way of Beast Wars and worry about bot character developement, not some Digimon kid rejects.

I'm not sure how the transformers could do stuff more "EXTREME!", so it might be best to create a series that has a set "home" where they return to.
Not to say that home can't be a ship zipping through space... picking up injured, lost, fugitive or important bots.

There's ALOT of potential in such a story.
You can have both outrageous and laid-back, cerebral stories side by side.

That sounds like a really good idea.

But I'm interested in how "stupid" Transformers can appear next to humans. Surely they are the "better" race, since they are more advanced.

I guess there was the issue of the kids advising all the Autobots from Galaxy Force. But I like Autobot interaction with kids. I think there is room for humour and mushy friendship scenes too.
