The BEST thing! Bought on freaking SIGHT! So happy!

You're waiting to SEE it? I'm preordering.

And yeah, the pairing of those two HAS to be intentional, and I'm just delighted by it. Bravo, Hasbro.

The shaft would be no new toy at all. Frankly, I'm thrilled that we're getting something, anything at all, in Generations that hearkens back to Beast Wars. Generations might just live up to its name one day!

I love these, I hope we get more. I'd like to see shockwave, Grimlock, and Blaster.

Agreed and good point! I'll get em if i see em.

Well, it's a good thing Waspy showed up in "Spotlight: Thundercracker", or this toy might not have been as likely to have been made here. ;)

Or he showed up in Spotlight Thundercracker because they knew this toy was coming out (the toy would have been planned long before the comic was made).

It's a pick axe. Megatron was an energon miner.

A badass one, at that.

I see that. It's just the angle they drew it. And making it the same color as him didn't help either.

Seriously, they could have drawn it a little higher so you can see the end of the handle. I got no proof, but I think the artist was trying to be funny.

Megatron is Eh...somewhat OK...
I am NOT really interested in the BUGS as TargetMasters,
BUT THAT version of STARSCREAM is the one that I REALLY want!

Wouldn't it be cool if you had about six 'Seekers' in this size and style (all with this detail) that could join to form a classic "G1 - esque" type of combiner like Superion or Devastator?! I miss the old G1 Combaticons, Stunticons, Protectobots, Technobots, and Aerialbots.
(aside from the robotic-creature-based 'Dinobots' of G1, I could never really get into the animals of Transformers... Beast Wars was garbage to me! When they brought back the Machines and the vehicles, THAT's When I found a renewed interest!! I was not thrilled with the beasts of TF: Prime Season 3 either! ) :HEADHURTS: :BANG_HEAD:

How much do they usually cost? Starscream and Waspinator are a must buy for me. Not sold on Megatron, but Prime and Bee are both pretty cool looking in my book.

$10, so only a dollar or two more than the regular commander class figures.

For $10, I'm totally in for at least Starscream! And Prime is even more tempting, now!

Aren't these $10? You think that's too much?

I think that's a good deal for such a cool toy. That's the price of two beers at a bar, or a large hoagie, or about two and half gallons of gas. I pay more than $10 for SHIPPING sometimes. To get a cool figure with a little mini-companion for that price is pretty good.

STarscream really does look good. I remember when RobotMasters Starscream came out, I thought it was a miracle they managed to get the robot design finaly in good proportions, but since then it's been proven it can be done and done to perfection. FOr a small scale though this is great.
Now the downside, why is it when Megatron isn't a gun, when he finaly has a chance to have a robot mode that isn't restricted with and alt mode that will almost certainly lead to weird proportions, still weird proportions. His alt mode is virtualy a block, why are his lower legs so akward looking. There isn't one tank Megatron that is any good, apart from a concept drawing of a Barabus tank, in light brown shown a while back.
Lastly, what a pathetic attempt of target masters, why do they bother with these stupid guns, it looks like they are holding insects, megatron looks like he has a new pet instead of laserbeak. It seems that you can point anything in the transformers world and it's a gun. Why not be done with it and make Bananna traget masters.

Armada Megatron is fantastic, and Waspinator makes a great gun, I don't know what you're looking at. Chop Shop though, not so much... perhaps it's mistransformed?

Megatron was a gun in the reveal the shield legends line. That was the only size scale that Hasbro could make a gun and if you remember the barrel was molded in blaze orange leaving the tip unpainted. They cannot make a gun transformer, that looks realistic, in a larger size class
