I'm actually digging some of the new character decos. They couldn't have come at a better time

I like that blue Predaking!

Cryofire Predaking? I'll be calling him Cryotek.

I like them all but I only want the ones that represent new characters. I would love to get "Fire-cryo-bs name" Predaking and name him Cryotech.

Also, do you guys see any homages? Please let the rest know, I see Thunderclash.

Fixed that for ya. And yes, now that you mention it, I do see Thunderclash in Prime's new paint job.

I really like the color deco on Sky Lynx. My only problem with it is that it's a Predacon and not an Autobot like the true Sky Lynx is. Did Michael Bay have something to do with naming this one?

I also like the Cyberverse Legion Beast Hunters 2 packs (minus yet another BB) with a new deco of Blight (they couldn't come up with a different name?) and a new deco of Ripper-Snapper called Cindersaur. I just wish they'd make three more 2 packs that would include new decos of Windrazor, Hun-Gurr, and Twinstrike so we can make yet another whole new deco of Abominous.

The Sky Lynx repaint is beautiful, and so is Dark Steel. I like both better than their original paint jobs. I'm passing on Skystalker and Grimwing; I'll get these instead.

Sky Lynx! Too bad that mold isn't impressive. Soundwave would've been a better choice, I think. Naturally, Sky Lynx uses only the most impressive, most elegant, most well-design mold ever created. He is clearly the highlight of not only this line of exclusives, but the entire Prime universe!

Wish they gave Bombshock there a totally different color scheme. He's not all that different from Hardshell.

Some of these look fantastic! Oh, and cindersaur homage, nifty.

Loving that skylynx deco! Works well with the beast mode but its a shame there isn't really a transformation into robot mode.

Is there a difference between the ordinary ultimate predaking and the predacons rising version? I was hoping for a bit more paint around the chest area or something

Anyone else seeing a Thunder Clash inspired deco in that Cyberverse Optimus?

The Dark Steel redeco of Grimwing reminds me of Slicer. Odd.

Also odd is that now there are three different versions of Blight, and only Blight. Might consider getting Cindersaur.

Hmm does this mean they are actually including the orange paint for predakings tail but only on the predacons rising version?

thank primus its target & not TRU, there are a few there that i like but would never pay TRUs prices for them. At least with target they price them like they were just normal toys not exclusives. Now just have to hope the prices dont jump back up

Some of these are a bit off the beaten path (looking at you, Sky Lynx from Skystalker), but I like 'em. I'm glad we've got this Not-Cryotek redeco of Voyager Predaking, because I keep hearing how good the mold is, but I want Beast Fire Predaking for scale. Now I can have both without having multiple Predaking syndrome.

Since this subline is all redecoes, we should get a Ser-Ket from Ripclaw out of it. At this rate she'll be the only Predacon mold to only see one use in Beast Hunters (its use as whoever in Transformers GO! notwithstanding).

I find it a bit odd that only two of the Terrorpreds are getting complete redecoes aside from the box set, though. I think having three (or two and a half) choices for each component to mix and match would be awesome.

some great looking colour schemes as well.
lets run down the list:

Gummi Abominus - yeah, okay, if the price is decent and probably only if I can't pick up the rest of the regular coloured ones before this comes out.

Beast Fire Predaking - I don't see any difference? Probably pass.

Prime and Predaking Commander 2-pack - not really keen on Prime, but very tempted by the Giant Purple Griffon!

Shockwave and Bombsock Commander 2-pack - yeah, probably get it for the bug. Really nice colours. Casper Van Dien is scared! That Shockwave isn't bad either.

Deluxe Yellow Bee - Pass!

Deluxe Sky Lynx Beast! - Beast is right. Love those colours and had been considering the original just because it looks like an interesting toy. Now I can get a better looking version. Definitely not my Sky Lynx stand-in but I'm sure I can repurpose him or just make up a new name.

Bumblebee and Blight Legion 2-pack - Hell yeah! Bee isn't yellow, which is a start I suppose. Otherwise he's completely skippable, but dammit, Dat Blot! He looks like the Battle Beast Gorilla guy! Ave it!

Smokescreen and Cindersaur Legion 2-pack - More Hell! More Yeah! Smokey looks nice in his Retro-80s-G1-inspired ensemble, the wee fashion-plate he is, but this is all about the Cindy! I nearly went looking to see if I could get the Cindersaur Botshot because of Nostalgia(TM) so I'm very happy to get a nicely coloured homage, and one that's part of a combiner as well? EVEN BETTER!

Cryotek Predaking - looks nice. A definite maybe.

Dark Steel - very nice colours. A little off to be the Classics BW Silverbolt I might have liked, but that's a great paintjob, so I'll probably find a way to fit him into my collection somehow.


Overall, very excited by these. Colours on a lot of them that I like much more than the original releases, and will push me over the edge on buying, and some of those colours so nice that I now want toys I really didn't care for at all before. Really hope they do the rest of Abominus in wildly different colours. Now that we've got Cindersaur I'd love Air/wing/thingy (Cutthroat) to get the Flamefeather colours, which sadly does only leave Sinnertwin or Hungrr for the Sparkstalker colours, unless the red Blight is close enough?

They did it with Predaking's original inspiration, so why not?:

And this is why I've gotten into the habit of not buying figures right off the bat. It's a shame that prime mold is getting used again, it'll be ground into dust. If it came with the shield I might have gone for it.

Why does Bombshock have a Predacon symbol instead of a Decepticon one? And why do the Abominus parts all have the wrong weapons?

Eh, whatevs. Liking the looks of most of these, they seem like decent recolors. I may pick them up.

That G1 colored Smokey looks awesome! Now that's how he's supposed to look!

Nah, it's based more on Generation One Shockwave, maybe even his previous Fall of Cybertron form.

I will definitely pick up the Voyager Dark Steel and the Ice Predaking, no interest in the rest, unless thats the only version of the ultimate Predaking they will be releasing state side, at which point him too.
