I saw these two days ago in a ToysRus, there was a Bumblebee too. The packaging was extremely plain, although with the Transformers Prime logos and everything. They didn't really have much about the toy written on them like normal packaging would. I found them quite hilarious because the packaging claimed that the toy was 'well detailed'. Wait till you guys see the Bumblebee, it's eyes will scar you forever.

Yeah, seen 31" movie Batman and new Superman. Horrible articulation, horrible price.

It goes without saying that this is a cheap Chinese toy that will sell at a premium for maximum profit per figure. As mentioned by others, however, not the first franchise to suffer such an assortment...

But I would like to add that I can definitely see how TRU, Target, Wal-mart, etc. are to blame for the proliferation of Optimi and BB figures. As mentioned by others, CLEARLY THESE STORES ARE ORDERING TOO MUCH OF WAVE 1 AND HASBRO IS NOT AT FAULT!

I feel quite terrible for even suggesting it was Hasbro's responsibility to include more variety in stores! I mean, it's not like Hasbro is producing Optimi/BB sets with no variety at all per wave! They wouldn't do that.

Eh, no thanks. I'm not one for merchandise like this. Now if it were better sculpted and had better detailing (not to mention being released in the states), I might bite.

oh Goody, more garbage that's gonna make sure that Metroplex or Masterpiece Soundwave never sees the light of day.

I'm predicting that Ultimate Optimus and Predaking are gonna shelfwarm. factor in the continued shelfwarming presenced of the Botshot dragon track, the invasion of Marsbots in tf shelf space. and recently announced Optimus vs predaking voyager 2 pack, which is almost certainly not gonna sell well.

If they cut it in half at the waist, they could call it a "bust" and sell it at twice the price.

This is...actually real...? Somehow I'm not convinced...though it's more of me HOPING it's some terrible knockoff. It looks like garbage.

I've actually seen 3D printed statues with better detailing than that. >:oP

You'd think that a non-transforming toy would have better detailing and paint to compensate for it. The detailing/greebles on Prime's "collar bone" area is missing entirely.

How much is this going for? The only thing this has going for it is size--the transforming toys totally trump this one in every other aspect, except maybe kibble.

I like how it has a pic of how he SHOULD look beside the window so you can see that he lacks detail, has the wrong proportions, almost no paint and some of it is wrong anyway (notice the red on his hips).

That's the same case with the first wave of the Generations FOC line.

....am I the only person who likes this? This is AWESOME! It's an homage to those old, giant Mazinger Z figures! That's pretty neat.

Alright, it is lacking a feeeew paint aps, and the articulation is almost nonexistent, but who cares? That isn't the point of this! I quite love it.

Now, how much is it, and do they sell it in America? I would buy it in a heartbeat!

This is like those 12" Iron Man and Clone Trooper figures. (There may also be an Anakin Skywalker.) They are official, although may not be produced by Hasbro. They've got basic forward and backwards movement at the hips and shoulders and head rotation. And they cost £15!!! 8-} I've seen better articulation on novelty children's bubble-bath bottles.

Those are also by a well-known and popular brand, who cater to enthusiasts of highly detailed, high quality over-sized (slightly articulated) statues.

Exactly. Comparing this overpriced piece of plastic to Medicom and Hot Toys is like comparing a kid's pedal car to a Lamborghini.

What Medicom and Hot Toys figures do you know of that sell for £15? I'm referring to these:

I've seen some refer to them as Titan Hero Series.

You may not be the only one, but I'm guessing you'd be in the minority. I'm sorry, but this is an overpriced piece of crap.
