I know those photoshopped preview shots don't always represent the final product, but changing the main color from black to doo-doo brown is inexcusable!

They'll probably use the colours later down the track for Gnaw or Depth Charge.

WTF?! That colour was the main reason for the figure, it no-longer looks like a Sharkticon.

This has nothing to do with photoshopping, that's usually done to make the colours "pop". This is more a case of deco change.

I bet Takara does the more G1 accurate Sharkticon color scheme (gray instead of brown).

Also, the promo images aren't digibashed into those colours, they're hand-painted.

Yeah, the few of them for sale on the sales floor were also the dark, "correct", color. Hopefully there's not a running change and BBTS just got a weird image.
