I don't think this is front page news worthy or anything, so here's a thread instead.

Platinum Ultra Magnus was on display at Botcon with the other Platinum series releases, which have generally been online/BBTS exclusives. With the recent preorder listings for the G1 Predaking reissue, I was curious where the heck listings for Platinum UM were.

I emailed BBTS and received this in reply (redacted the fluffy, customer service parts):

Thank you for thinking of BBTS for the Platinum. I do believe we would like to list this item, and are currently waiting for a solicitation. If/when we receive that, we will put this item up for Preorder.

I hope Hasbro sends them a solicitation soon so we don't have to pay import pricing for this guy

I was surprised BBTS didn't list this figure. I picked mine up at TRU in Vancouver, BC.

Oh wow, I didn't realize it actually hit brick and mortar retail in Canada.

Hey, exclusives of this caliber aren't usually in US brick-and-mortar stores, right?
