Help with choosing: Generations Metroplex or TRU MP Soundwave?

Hey guys, I need several opinions.

My 18th birthday is coming up here in a few weeks, and with Metroplex and Soundwave coming very soon, I'd like to see about snagging either before they become extinct. Unfortunately, due to financial issues in the family (as usual), I can only afford one of them. I'd like to add another Masterpiece to my collection (especially if it's a Decepticon: Decepticons superior!), but I'd also like to own the tallest Transformer ever made. So as you can see, I'm in quite a dilemma. If anyone can drop a reply and voice their opinions, that would be swell.

Soundwaves will be made again and again, but what are the chances of another metropolex?

They both look awesome but I would go for MP Soundwave. reason being I think if finances become available later I believe Metroplex will be around. Plus there is a Takara version, Hasbro version, SDCC version, and a Hong Kong ACG-Con version. so collectors will have choices.

Get Soundwave. I think Metroplex will be more plentiful because he's in all the stores and will be sticking around a while. Soundwave will literally fly off the shelves.

Mkall's got a point: it's most likely going to be MP-10 all over again.

Soundwave it shall be. Thanks for the support for those who responded! :D

Naturally I would say get both but I fully comprehend your plight and Mkall is spot on. The madness will be 2x greater then that of TRU MP OP maybe even more. Oh man can you all feel the tention building towards the 18th...can ya?? :HEADHURTS: Yeah go for SW first dude...'nuff said! :VEHI:

Oh yes, I can feel it. I need to see that Armada Starscream! Many of the Generations: Thrilling 30 toys are on my "To Get" list later this year. :D

But yeah, my birthday is but another fourteen days away. That's another tense feeling!

Alright, so I've given it a little more thought: instead of Generations Metroplex, how about the SDCC version? Still Soundwave?

You don't really want MP Soundwave. Don't even bother trying to preorder it.

:-$

Personally, I'd still go with MP Soundwave. Metroplex looks cool and all, but MP Soundwave is hands down amazing (I have the Takara version)
