My understanding is this figure was never KO'd. Looks legit to me and is a very cool figure; though a bit of a pain to transform right until you get his panels down right.
That's a pretty good price too, I'd say go for it.

He says it is the sonokong version, which if I remember is just who puts out transformers in korea. like Hasbro here takara in japan.
Id grab it. Big convoy looks great and is a lot of fun.

As FortMacs said, this is a SonoKong manufactured Transformer toy, and it is legitimate. At $28, it's a great deal.

i agree and thanks for the help -i worry about knock offs as i have been the victim of such frequently its the idiot selling them are using stock photos form else were and doesn't realize their selling KOs of these. had that happen with some g1 predaking parts. and im still having trouble as a bid i was doing the ass closed it early after he had someone he was selling them to off ebay bid it up so he could sell them for more =bastard. sorry i have had a bad evening i was hoping to get closer to finishing restoring a g1 predaking -i started in a while back and its almost there

I've seen that listing for a long time. Those Korean figs are legit and great quality. I've been wanting to pull the trigger and buy from the very same auction but haven't got around to it.
Cool figure but it doesn't really fit in my collection but i like it heaps and that price is a screamin deal.

well i managed to talk him down to 28 while it was on sale i think thats his minimum price but its great deal with free shipping. i suspect this guy might have gotten this as over stock or something similar though it said the listing is running low i doubt that it is all this guy has. also i would wait until he puts them on sale then haggle.

i figure also it wasn't that loose -the mammoth still had the plastic that it was wrap in i suspect these were intented to be release but got left some where and they just sat -but all in all its a fairly good figure -at least now i don't have to pay an arm and leg for ultra mammoth to get that mold -never saw the black version here -this area is very very badly supplied some times we never see figures
