So I am looking to purchase MP-10 or MP-1 the original MP Optimus. I dont really care about the trailer so it doesnt sway me one way or the other. What I want to know is which Optimus mold and color is better between MP-1 & MP-10 and whether I should go with Hasbro or Takara? Those of you that own him your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Or should I pick up a different MP Optimus.

I like MP-10 better.

It is more in scale, truck and bot mode look better, has a spike you can put in the cab!! (a reason my wife likes it better)

only thisg I can say is better on mp-01 is the gun.

as for takara vs Hasbro.... if you choose mp-01 go with takara. if you choose MP-10 im not sure which to pick I have Hasbro and love it. never held the takara so cant compare them.

either way they are awesome figures.

I've got Hasbro's MP-01 and Takara's MP-10 and I love MP-10 as he looks more show accurate and has a better alt mode. Haven't compared MP-10 in hand with Hasbro's version, but MP-10's colours do seem to be a bit better (mostly the darker blue), other than that I guess it is just price.

MP-01 does have a few more gimmicks, but they don't make up for the lack of show accuracy.

I opted to go with MP-10 B since I like the black paint job so much and the smaller price tag! This might be one of the prettiest transformers I have ever put my hands on. Sold me on wanting MP-10 now as well. Saving for next month!
