Ryan has returned from his San Diego trip and has had some time to post all of the galleries he finished cropping during his travels in California. These galleries are ones that have been photographed for some time (2 years in the case of the e-Hobby exclusives) but Ryan never had time to crop, watermark, upload and post on the site. These ten new galleries comprise Transformers toys from various lines including Transformers Go!, Arms Micron, Takara Tomy's Transformers Animated, Transformers Collection and e-Hobby Exclusives - view the full galleries by clicking on any of the images below!

OK, yeah, no regrets at all about skipping the SDCC exclusive Shockwave now that I've seen him side by side with the Takara version (the only one I own).

I'm surprised you didn't post up images of AM Airachnid with the copter blades from her along with the ones from the Hasbro version attached via the Arms Micron ports on her back to make her 'spider' mode. That's how I have mine on my shelf, and she doesn't look half bad. It definitely redeems that toy (which is no easy feat to accomplish :P).

Why are Starscream and Shockwave referred to as 'Triple Combination'? Is that part of the official name for the Transfomers: GO! line or something?

The full name of the Japanese answer to Beast Hunters is Sanjou Gattai! Transformer GO!, which is... really hard to translate properly. Don't even bother to try and understand the etymology, it's Japanese to the core. All you need to know is:

1) 参乗 (sanjou) literally means "to the third power" , referring to the teams of 3 and the 3 combined forms of each. Because the teams have "official" ties (being Samurai and Shinobi or Ninja), the alternate kanji for 3 or san is used. For simplicity's sake, we stayed with "Triple" and called it a day.
2) Sanjou written as 参上 can also mean "I/We have arrived", which is commonly used in period dramas and pop culture. Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger and Kamen Rider Den-O come to mind.

Should I just call it Transformers Go!, which I'm assuming is the more common name, than what appears to be the full official name?

Do you have the original one from 2001 or 2002 or the reissue of it that came out around 2009 with Sunstorm?

The only other instance in which you've used a full name is for the first Japanese G1 Season. Most other series have a variation of "Chou Robotto Seimeitai" (Super Robot Lifeform) as part of their full title, which can get rather cumbersome. I mean look, this is for G1 alone:

Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers
Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: 2010
Transformers: The Headmasters
Transformers: Super God Masterforce
Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Victory
Transformers: Zone
Transformers: Return of Convoy
Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers: Operation Combination
Transformers: G-2

I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Sanjou Gattai is unique in that aspect however, and should receive at least some recognition for bucking tradition.
