Heres a few pics of the figures I've picked up in the pass few days. I'm quite impressed with quality and engineering of these figures. The 2008 Camaro Bumble bee figure is awesome. For a Deluxe figure and it's size it has an incredible amount of detail. Brawl and the 2008 Bumble bee are my favorite's, it's just a shame Brawls arms are a bit doggy, had to hold them in place with blue tack. :D

Which store did you manage to pick up the Wave 3 figures (08 Bumblebee and Arcee) from?

I got them both from Big W. Keep an eye out for a store that has a hight turn over in the figure sales as they will have newer stock. If you can find Arcecc, keep checking that store as BB 2008 shouldn't too far away. I've seen a few Arcees' but this is the first BB 2008 I seen. :D

You Americans amuse me.

Look where all the previous posters in this forum are from... Australia. Big W is an Australian store that is more akin to Kmart and Target than Walmart.

Ill be checking the 3 Big W's in my area for '08 Bumblebee, none of them are very high turnover stores though...

Thanks for the comparison pics between the BB's, I thought the classic Bumblebee was fantastic, but I can't wait to get the 08 Camaro one.

And you anger me.

1.) Not all Americans think like you have us pegged to.
2.) It doesn't say where he/she is from.
3.) Obviously a new person, and until I got on the internet I had no idea what stores were in other countries, so it's not that much of a stretch to see someone else might not know either.

Cut the person a break, and quit being a pretentious dick.

You've got nothing to be amused about, you're just another unimportant speck on the universe's ass, just like the rest of us.

EDIT: I'm half tempted to have someone in Australia pick one up and mail it to me...there's a seller on eBay that does it and I'm sorely tempted. I want '08 Bumblebee BAAAD. Looks like he was pushed back to August or so, instead of July. :(

I really hope these will hit The Scandinavia, since im missing a BB in Deluxe size! ... But with my luck they wont.
That means online store with expensive shipping and control tax ONCE again ... :(

Does the 2008 stay together better in car form then the first wave one? Any ideas when this wave is out in the US?

I don't know when it comes out in the US since Im in Australia, but from looking at the photos, I think it will stay better in the car mode (and the car mode looks better anyway).

Are you asking me?

I hope I haven't let your hopes up, I just viewed the pictures online. I'm in the same situation as you; getting bumblebee 08 will really complete my Autobot team (redeco Jazz/Elita 1/Ratchet are pretty much optional), but I can't find him anywhere in BRisbane either; not in Toowong, not in the CBD, I will try Indro this weekend, and someone on this forum warned me not to make a special trip to Garden City near Mt. Gravatt cuz apparently the TRU is terrible there.

Tell you what, if I find it before you do, I will start a thread for all Brisbanites telling where I found it, and if you find it before me, you start one about where you found it. 8)

Also I am going to Melbourne in 2 weeks time so who knows, there might be more stock there. Or less. 8)

I got BB 2008 at Carindale BigW Carindale, seems like they are all out of Deluxes now aside from Wreakage. I saw 2 Arcee's up at Garden city BigW Wednesday if anyone's interested. Carindale and Garden City BigW are only two places where I've had any luck with the 2 new figures, nothing much in the Northside areas. Most other places have only a small range or lots of the common ones. Toy's R Us has a pretty good range but no rare ones. It seems like the Deluxe figures are selling very quickly. Pickuped up Bone crusher today, his got great detail.

Not too shall about release date in US but heard some rumors about Jul 4th and Jul 14th also heard Aug like Aubot032 said earlier. I heard some say it's out in the Philippines and Malaysia so I'm guessing Asia Pacific region has them. Strange I would assume the US would have gotten it by now as most things are released in the US before AU. But then we got the Movie release on the 28th June. It might just be BB2008 is very rare.

BB 08 in car mode is very nice his hood and read quarter panels come together very well. The windows are see through with blue tint. The doors also open in Alt mode and aren't split into several section like the 76 bb. It also has nice looking Mag wheels and exhaust tips (Strange, has drawn on tips plus ankles that form exhaust tips too). The only 2 cons is the hinge of the doors are obvious and his toes hang down a bit and are visible underneath the car from the side view. Overall bb08 looks better as there are less transform lines visible. BB76 spring loaded auto morph feature causes gaps in the hood while bb08 does have any spring features making him fit together better. BB 08 is quite complex to transform and you have to take a lot of care. The panels need to be aligned too sort of like Barricade.

Heres a few Alt mode pics.
