First of all, I know that many people think AFA grading doesn't do anything for the quality of a transformer. I'm not looking to start an argument about that. I'm just trying to get an idea of how to sell what I've got. According to AFA's population report, there is only one AFA graded C-123 Dial Dino cassette, in existence. Also, there are only three AFA graded C-122 Noise Dino cassettes, two of them graded at 85, and one graded at 80. I have the graded Dial, with the detailed grading summary and a grade of 80, and I also have Noise, graded at 80 with a detailed grading summary, as well. I need money, so I'm going to have to sell them, sadly. Is it even worth trying, on Ebay? Or will I get less than their value? For that matter, what are these things worth? I've never seen any graded Dino cassettes sell, before, so I have no idea. I'd really appreciate some help, thanks so much!

There are two types of collectors: AFA Collectors and the rest of us

Seriously though, there is a definite segment of the TF Community that really loves AFA stuff that would probably gobble these right up, or at least help you derive a value for them. If I remember correctly, Arkvander may be someone to look up for help with AFA, or could at least help you network.
Hope that helps!

AFA grading is for suckers. The AFA grading system only exists for one reason: for the AFA to make money by charging people for grading. It's an ingenious "Pay-to-play" racket.

This. Personally, I think only morons with too much money to burn will pay for AFA graded stuff. Still, I buy stupid expensive **** myself so who I am to judge?
What I would suggest would be to go to Ebay and put them up at a 1$ starting bid. Then, you will see how much people are ready to pay for them. You might be surprized.
