I picked up Masterpiece Soundwave today. On the side of his box it says "9 of 30" with the 30th Anniversary logo. I can only imagine that the "of 30" is referring to The Thrilling 30 line. So, my question is, who falls into this line? Nothing but the MP figures have stated a serial numeral.

Here's what I figure thus far.
01. Voyager Springer
02. Voyager Blitzwing
03. Voyager Sandstorm
04. Deluxe Trailcutter
05. Deluxe Orion Pax
06. Deluxe Megatron
07. Deluxe Bumblebee
08. Masterpiece Acid Storm
09. Masterpiece Soundwave

We also know that we will be getting a Voyager Rhinox, Deluxe Waspinator, Deluxe Armada Starscream, and Voyager Doubledealer.

Do any of these legends type sets fall into The Thrilling Thirty?

On a related note, the two current Hasbro Masterpiece figures have MP-XX numbers on the box. Do you think that this means Hasbro will release a serial Masterpiece line for the states or will they ditch it once the 30th anniversary is through?

Thrilling 30 is the monicker for the entirety of the next year, as far as we know, with 30 figures taking the spotlight.

The Voyagers and Deluxes are not part of those 30 figures, but are part of the Thrilling 30 marketing name, if you will. Most of them are based on IDW-style designs.

Oh, well flak. Most of those don't interest me at all... :/

So, what are your thoughts on a numeric series of Masterpieces? You think they'll actually stick with it? I'll probably still get Acid Storm cos he is my favorite of the Seekers, but I don't wanna pay the masterpiece pricetag if they're just gonna start at MP-01 (or no number) again once the 30th anniversary is over.
