I recently purchased Masterpiece Soundwave. It has been given the number MP-02, and Acid Storm is now MP-01.

My question is, will we be getting more Masterpieces in a numeric series like Takara has been doing, or will Hasbro ditch the numeric Masterpieces once the 30th anniversary is over. I want Acid Storm, but only because he is my favorite seeker, but it will give me extra incentive if there is actually going to be a numeric series.

I don't think Hasbro will continue the numbered line, they're super inconsistent with their Masterpieces.
Some are labeled as Masterpieces, others are part of a main line or a secondary line, and occasionally they're labeled as special one off pieces like 20th any Prime.

For all we know, the next Masterpiece will be released labeled as a Leader Class toy.

The whole thing that they've now chosen to number them is super weird though, kinda cool but far too late and weird.
