I believe Toys "R" Us still has Metroplex up for order on their website. But I think someone mentioned that they took it down, so I don't know.

So are these expected to be a TRU exclusive? Sorry but I just don't remember.
Imagine if these made to discount stores?

Anyone know if there's an official release date to look forward to, or if this was an early release or anything like that? Like should I be checking everyday right now? lol

Supposedly, it's this month, but when Toys "R" Us temporarily put up their listing, it stated that "shipping begins 9/17", or something like that. I remember it being September, and it being between the tenth and the twentieth.

Irritates me that other areas of the country have the Platinum editions much less Metroplex and 4 stores around me within 30 mile have nothing but constructobots and some beast hunters.

Great video, Too bad this metroplex doesn't have more of a complex transformation like he does in the game. But I still enjoy it.

Went to my local TRU (Tacoma, WA) and they had 3 Metroplexes on the very top shelf. The associate who helped me asked if I had called earlier. Apparently someone wanted to put all 3 on hold. >.< Glad I was able to pick on up.

Good job, I bet they wouldn't have held all three for one person unless they bought them with a credit card over the phone. It wouldn't be fair to pull all three of such a low stock item. Kudos for getting one, we love ours

So how are the stickers on the retail version? Are they the proper sizes? Do they stay stuck? I have the SDCC version and while the stickers looks awesome, Jesus, do they suck. I quit out of frustration.

I'm with ya on the SDCC stickers. They don't stay put for crap. Though they may look nice, they don't have the long term adhesive properties as the standard version.
