Just curious about everyone's opinions on the Movie line toys.

I'm not really all that into Transformers (had like G1 Prime that I messed around with as a kid, not sure of its whereabouts now) and Beast Wars toys here and there. Recently, I went on a buying rampage getting all the movie toys.
What do all the TF experts think about the movie toys? From what I understand, people don't really like them?
Personally, I think they're amazing and totally kick ass.

Some people like them, some people don't. They have had some QC issues though, but beyond that it's all a matter of taste.

The movie toys are mostly good, but as a whole, their overall quality is below that of the Cybertron or Classics line.

The toys themselve are okay. But the movie design itself other than Prime and maybe Bumblebee are all crap. Most of these guys don't have real hand. The faces are all atrocious. The body design....one look at Megatron and I can't barely stand him. Overall, I hate it. But as a Transfan, I'll continue to support the line and go to see the movie.

The movie toys have some hits and misses. I like Bumblebee and Barricade toys, but others, like Blackout, are lacking.

of all the ones I've bought so far, I can honestly say I really appreciate them, I wouldn't go so far as to say they've surpassed the other lines...
There's some good and bad with the line, for the most part I find that there's a lot that have trouble fitting together/staying tigether in either robot mode or vehicle mode, for example Brawl's shoulders in robot mode, or Blackout's removable blades/tail section in vehicle mode... but for the most part they look rather impressive.

They are pretty good but I warn everyone, DO NOT GET DELUXE BRAWL! He is terrible so just wait for the leaders size figure of him.

In trying to cram in "CGI shard-bot" details, they end up just looking rough and non-descript.
The only "movie" toy I want (Mean Time, the Real Gear watch) wasn't even in the movie.
After I get him, I'll just stay out of the Transformers aisle a few months until I'm SURE there's no more movie toys left.

So it's really a matter of character design and.. whether or not the toy works?
I see lol.
I've bought:
Leader Prime
Deluxe Wreckage
Voyager Starscream
Voyager Ironhide
Planning on getting Barricade and both Bumblebees.

Well designed with fun transformations, reasonable effort at replicating the movie designs. No QC issues with those that I have, looking forward to getting more.
