I'm sorry if this was mentioned in another thread but....
My Ironhide has clear-blue plastic on the back of the head indicating that the figure has the lightpiping for the eyes like the rest of the figures; however, the plastic for the eyes is black.
Is this just how it comes, or are there Ironhide's out there with blue eyes? If so, I'm returning this.

I checked the toy gallery on the site and Ironhide has black eyes and is supposed to be like that.

I don't know that it is how they are supposed to be made because mine appears to be painted over. But the majority of them do seem to have the light piping broken in one way or the other.

the light piping works, just takes ages, I had my Ironhide on my computer desk back facing an open window, took ages but eventually the lights turned on! freaked me out at first. ITS ALIVE!!!

I did the same thing. I'll try to upload pictures of Ironhide's eyes later so you can see for yourself.

Yes, his eyes are too opaque for correct light piping, but they do in fact pipe light, with a sufficiently bright light source, like a key chain flash light, which is what I used.

Mine looks like it has its eyes painted over on the front. The eyes light pipe but only around the edges, where it seems theres no paint.

Mine seems to have had its eyes painted too.
Not sure It I want to try and scrape that paint off, The Autobot eye piping looks really good, but I dont want to dmage the toy.

Here are the pics. The bottom one is under normal daylight while the top one is under daylight plus a flashlight.

While that may be the case with yours, mine definetly has its eyes painted over, i took a pin and lightly scratched off some of the surface off, and when put up to a light, sure enough the light piping comes in almost as brightly as robovision prime.
