Seibertron.com user Goggle Convoy had notified fellow North Caroliners of the sighting of Contructbots Elite Megatron, Optimus and Hound in a Walmart in Raleigh, NC priced at 14.96 each. Mindmaster reported to the news staff, ScottyP took some photos - after three notifications, here is the proof that these sets are actually out there! (By the time the photo was taken, Optimus had gone.) Happy hunting, Constructbots fans.

Some of my stores still have wave 1 stuff like Bumblebee and Roadbuster, at full price. Now that's sad.

That Megatron reminds me of that Animated repaint

Thats pretty lazy merchandising. Makes it look crap.

Fun Fact: that Mudflap was the only deluxe TF in the entire store. I should've taken a picture of the whole TF pegboard as it was in a really sad state.

Mudflap is that transformer your gran gets you because "it was cheap" and "looked alright" plus "you like it, dont you? tell me and we can take it back".

Are the Optimus and Megatron toys the same (or a re-color) as the ones in the two-pack?

Without having bought either the individual or gift sets, from looking at the packaging, they're the same, just that the individual releases have translucent armor parts and some different colors (like Megatron's turret) and the gift set comes with more/different weapons for each figure. I may buy the gift set eventually, but right now, I'm just buying the construct-bots who haven't been over-saturated the last few years like the Ironhide and Autobot Hound as they make for some nice repurposed G1-styled Cybertronian form Transformers.

Also, thank to ScottyP for providing pics, I currently don't have the equipment to do so.
