[Thundercracker] Construct-bot paint apps and quality control

We just picked up Construct-bot Thundercracker from Walmart the other day and my son showed me Thundercracker's head. It had blue eyes instead of red and only half of his head was painted black while the other was painted light gray (half meaning left/right, NOT fore/aft). Has anyone else noticed these poor paint applications and quality control issues with Construct-bots (or specifically with Thundercracker)? I plan on taking it back to the store and exchanging it for another one. Hopefully the issue isn't specific to all Thundercracker molds.

Don't bother taking it back. All of the Starscreams came with a half-black/half-gray helmet too.

Sometimes colors (like eye color) can change. That's why the packages always say something like "colors may vary". Even the $125 Masterpiece Soundwave had the "wrong" color eyes.

In the end, this is a cheap toy, and you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the quick response. I might try my hand at repainting it if that is the case since my son really wants and likes the figure. What were they going for? Surely this was not intentional. I understand the eye color may vary, but the half-colored head? That is unacceptable. Hasbro dropped the ball on this one.
