When Takara releases the next large masterpiece Decepticon Leader, which would you all prefer? Personally i want Galvatron, I think he'd translate to plastic crack better then another Megatron.

I would say most MP collectors want Megs v.2 and that is exactly why they will hold off doing him for years...Takara wants to keep you wanting more...
I think there were strong rumors that they were working on either Shockwave or Galvatron I think one of those 2 are coming in about a year's time.

This is a good question. I would really love to see both a new
Megatron and soon after, a
Galvatron.

MP Galvatron. I'd buy it.

Maybe because my MP-Starscream has the coronation set, I'd prefer to see MP Galvatron. Then just give me an MP-Cyclonus and I can replay the entire coronation scene!

Mega-mega-megatron!
But it should look as good as the MP-10 this time. I read an interview where designer Shogo Hasui said that he watched all the G1 episodes again to get a "complete image" of Optimus Prime when working on the second Masterpiece iteration. I hope he'll do the same with Megatron.

Megatron first, Galvatron later. They should make them in the order they appear in the show.

well technically they did, we had megatron (he died of cosmic rust), now we are due for galvatron. and hastak has already broken releasing figures in any type of order when they did hot rod/ rodimus, and now ultra magnus.

Oooh. Galvatron first, then Megatron. A 2.0 Megatron in the style of MP-10 Optimus would be fantastic. Better transformation, not as fragile... Yes, make it happen Takara Tomy, yessss.

I personally don't care for Galvatron, and I will be passing on him when and if his MP is released. So I guess my answer is Megatron. But I don't mind waiting for him if it means that he will look great.

I want a Megatron 2.0. Optimus needs his nemesis.

Indeed he does. Toyworld's Hegemon is proof that we need a Megatron 2.0 Masterpiece.

Galvatron, because we'll never get another MP Megatron into Australia. That's the only reason I never tried to buy Hegemon as well.

I really would like to see Takara get Megatron out of the way. It would be nice to have a nemesis for MP10 aside from MP10B. I'd like to see him turn into something besides a gun. It really interrupts his bot asthetic. I keep thinking they could give him a G1 cybertronian alt mode (we never saw it so it could be anything) As long as the bot mode looks like G1 megs I think most of us would be happy. Takara should do a poll on this!
Galvatron would be a nice introduction for the decepticons in the season 3 group.
Which ever comes first, I'll be happy if Hasbro can bring them state side. (Takara is just too damned expensive)

Long live Galvatron! Galvatron!

Megatron, beyond all shadow of a doubt.
The existing MP Megatron is like what the humans would build in the TF universe in an attempt to replicate him - kinda resembles him, but is fragile, and clearly an inferior copy of the one true Megatron.

Megatron, because I hear the original masterpiece version is prone to some disastrous issues.

Yeah. Mine's got rusty feet, and I've never even transformed him for fear of his shin guards snapping off or other structural problems.

I would prefer a MP Megatron V.2., though interestingly, I happened on a post from another TF News site from the end of October about a prototype Not-Galvatron; "Dark Messiah...". Not sure how accurate the story is which is why I didn't save & upload the images here. Beside's, I figured Seibertron might want to check it out & report it if it were true. The images of the prototype looked very factory & not a kitbash.
I do have to wonder why Hasbro hasn't asked for an MP Galvatron with the whole issue of Megs' being a Walther P38 (why not 007's PPK?). Also why are there no truly awesome homage toys for G1 Meg's? Say a .40 S&W Walther P99, or "Desert Eagle"? How about the other .500's? Why, there's even the ridiculous Zeliska .600 MAGNUM. There could have even been a 19th century inspired Meg's as a Colt Walker or Dragoon.

"Dark Messiah" is a real 3rd party upcoming figure of Galvatron. The prototype was 3D printed, then cleaned up for presentation. We do not report on 3rd parties in the news, anymore. They're only spoken of in the forums, preferably the 3rd party & KO section.

Hasbro making a Masterpiece Megatron will require a Masterpiece of the G2 version. (Tank) Making a toy gun, especially one that's life sized, is becoming increasingly difficult due to currently enacted laws. Not impossible, but certainly close to it. Even with the orange cap thing.
A kid was just killed by police for brandishing a toy gun. Incidents like that add to the list of concerns and make the law justified.

I know a lot of people disagree with me on this for so many reasons, but I still think hasbro can still bring Megs V2 to the states if takara starts with his bot mode, and work that into a G1 cybertronian mode. I know that we never saw this in the series (I'm not sure if it was revealed in the comic) I think Takara could use this to their advantage and create a new alt mode for him avoiding the whole gun mode, thus making him sellable in the states, and keeping a perfect bot mode at the same time. Most of us display our TFs in bot mode anyway.
