Generations Metroplex As Fuctioning Playset

I have seen a few YouTube reviewers talk about Metroplex as a possible modern playset, akin to the types from the 80's, (nostalgia factor at '11), but this seems untested. Has anyone actually tested the Transformers Prime Cyberverse, Legion, & newer small Generations figures with our 30th Anniversary baseformer?

I'm sure if you took a classic G1 Bumblebee/Goldbug sized toy it would scale just fine, but I should have an expexctation be able to use the newest generations of small TF figures.

I'm the type of collector that wants to play with my nephews, (& then in another few years my own children). Why buy a giant playset if nothing today is small enough to function with the centerpiece of the 30th.

Minibots like Bumblebee are nearly exactly the same size as most Legends / small Cyberverse figures, and the Cyberverse Commanders are only somewhat larger. Metroplex is perfectly sized as a playset for them, though possibly a different fan mode might be better as a playset rather than just "a city".

I appreciate the points you make and thank you V. as this will make my purchasing decisions more informed.

I would be willing to compile an ongoing list of recommended figures for Metroplex V.2 from any postings on this Thread. I can make a reasonable assumptions for a respectable number of figures just from the tip about Minibots compared to Legends, Cyberverse, ETC.

Get one Tronus. Every purchase will make it profitable for Hasbro/Tomy to make more Titan Class figs.

I bought a bunch of Legions and Legends characters and they work great with Metroplex.

Here's a couple images from the Seibertron Galleries that may support his playset potential:

That is exactly what I wanted to see!!! Now I hope that Takara Tommy Gun's announcement about a hint about the announcement of the MP fan poll winner will hint at an announcement for Masterpiece Fortress Maximus :-p

(Why no love for Tripticon & Scorpinok?)

Stop making me want this. I've been trying to resist the temptation. I just don't have the room to display it. But it would be great to break out when nieces and nephews come over. (And some mini-cons of my own in a few years.)
