So I visited a local Aldi today and discovered that they had a few Wave 1/2 Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe figures, for the cheap price of €12.99.
That's German Aldi. I took some pics:

Just, in case it's something you might want to know.

Yeah, no thanks... I've been to a Dutch Aldi once and believe me, the store looked really poor. Now if it was Lidl, I'd be paying close attention. :D

But that's the whole discounter strategy: Cut as many corners as you can to make prices more appealing.

And Lidl looks nicer than Aldi?

Is Dutch Aldi the same as Aldi in the U.S.? I was only in one of those stores once, when they had Prime FE figures for $9.99, and it was the most bizarre shopping experience of my life. There wasn't a single brand I recognized in the entire store. The cashiers sat on raised chairs like thrones instead of just standing at the register. And they don't bag your groceries. I was worried that I passed through a wormhole and entered some bizarro alternate universe.

Welcome to the world of European supermarkets

That's pretty much any European supermarket you described there, but the brands are store-dependent. Chains like Aldi and Lidl are discount chains here, and offer non-mainstream, usually imported brands for cheap. You'd be amazed at the quality of some product, at times they actually exceed that of more prevalent stores. Ask my mom, she loves her local Lidl store. ;)

A good deal of those brands are actually famous brands just under a different name and lower price point.

If you take some of the id numbers of some of these no-name brand products and google them, you get the actual brands. And sometimes it's hilarious, I got some short bread once, expected it to be just OK due to the dirt cheap price. But when I opened the box, the shape, smell and taste of the shortbread looked familiar, googled the id number and sure enough it turned out to actually be Walker's shortbread, for like 1/4 of the price.

This is the first time I've seen TFs at Aldi, which is why I reported it here, I knew Aldi US does it, but this is the first time Aldi in Germany did it. I may pick up one or two simply to fiddle with.

Bamberg, Oberfranken.

Kinda want that Wheeljack, since it's pretty badass and almost like a gundam with the extras and all.

I just want Ripclaw and maybe Lazerback, can't decide between him and the readily available Vertebreak.
