It's available in both standard (inner bubble tray, ties) and frustration free (looks like rubber bands and ties only) packaging.

Because of this current pricing, he doesn't meet the newly raised minimum of $35.00 that's required for free shipping, so unless you plan on buying multiple items or have Amazon's Prime service, you will have to pay extra for shipping, and depending on your location, tax.

Still, an excellent deal for a $60.00 toy.

Just a clarification that the free shipping starts at $35.00 now. Amazon increased it right before the Holiday season :-/

Thank you for the heads up. When I posted the news article, it was the same price for both. Now, it's $21.99, so they changed it again, from the price you posted.

Thanks for the heads up. At this price I cannot pass it up as I have Prime. I hope the hassle free will mean that it comes with an outer box as well .

I'm in a new relationship and she has a 4 year old...I figure I hide the weapons and he has a really cool Prime truck to play with. Always great to introduce the next generation to Optimus Prime. Sounds like a win win for me.

Just ordered the hassle free with Prime and it will be here Dec 19th. The price was $18.00 total at 7:45 AM Central Time...might want to step on it before the price fluctuates again.

Amazon is also discounting a lot of other TF toys right now. FOC Soundblaster, blaster and soundwave are $7, $10 ,$13 respectively. Also Hoist and a few of the generations toys were up for $7. I went to my local TRU and just had them price match the FOC voyagers. They've had a ton in stock lately.

Keep in mind the deals are on the TFs that Amazon has in stock itself. 3rd party sellers are still doing crazy mark ups on things. Also Amazon likes to have fun with their pricing as we've all seen.

Or take one back to Walmart and get $65.00 back and tell them that you got it as a gift and you already had it. That way you can recoup some of your money you spent! Thats a "Win-Win" situation in my books!

I hate to say it but Amazon does this a lot. You wait for a deal and run the risk of the price shooting up or you get a deal, (Lightning deal Predaking) jump on it, only to find out there's a better deal later (Price dropped to $50)
