I'm quite psyched for Swerve & Cosmos! They've really taken this Legends line in a great direction.

I can't wait for Cosmos. Also psyched for the deluxe Windrazor and Twinstrike. I know they're upsized Legends, but c'mon, Deluxe Sinnertwin and Cutthroat. I love me some Terrorcons.

For me, this is where my deluxe line collection for Prime or any other line that incorporates this ends. If I wanted giant sized legends figures I would buy the KO's from China from a fraction of the cost of these. I understand what they are trying to do, but that is what the legion and commander lines are for. Not to mention the Rescue bots line, which they choose not to expand. Furthermore, this is just a way Hasbro can get off cheap for next years lines. They reuse the same designs and the like to save money and charge us the same, if not more, for a deluxe Transformer. Thankfully the Generations line is not doing this, at least yet. And I hope the TF4 line doesn't either, or I will be buying only the dinobots.

So are they going to do all the Abominus figures as deluxe? Those look great.

Actually, they upsized the Legends figures to be more parent-friendly.

Nope, only Twinstrike and Windrazor. Plus, they have the connectors removed,

i really want cosmos but $10 is just to much, ill just wait til a sale or coupon shows up. But i like how they say twinstrike can be transformed in 5 steps but each step has about 3 steps to it.

I'm looking forward to Swerve and Cosmos. I'll happily replace iGear's figures with those.

Cosmos and Payload shall be mine! A flying saucer paired with a space shuttle is just too perfect!

Incidentally, what does "OVNI" stand for? I assume it's the Spanish/French equivalent for "UFO", but is it a literal translation/acronym of "unidentified flying object" or does it have a completely different origin?

This.
The existing Beast hunters Deluxe Bumblebee (and it's original Prid version) can be done in 5 steps if you present it like this. The simplicity for kids is a lie to cover that they are doing this to be cheap and cut costs, sadly some folk...
megatronus wrote:Actually, they upsized the Legends figures to be more parent-friendly.

...are still believing it. A good majority of the Prid line could've been packaged like this to put parents' minds at ease that the toy inside wouldn't infuriate their children and been just as 'true' as these. Anywho, no skin off my nose; I don't like them, I won't buy them. I nearly bought Swerve and Cosmos from Kapow yesterday, but they are only available together and I'm trying to save money, so I just bought Hoist instead. Swerve is a definite buy for me next year.

"Objeto Voador Não-Identificado". A fairly literal translation.

That would be Portuguese. Here's some more:

French: OVNI, Objet volant non identifié
Spanish: OVNI, Objeto volador no identificado

All literal translations. :)

*EDIT* And I just noticed those are European cards for the Simplified Deluxes!

They look remarkably similar to their Legends counterparts, especially where the holes are concerned. It looks like it wouldn't take much to place pegs in that associated places. Are we absolutely certain that the other figures aren't coming down the pipe later on? It seems awfully strange that Hasbro is going to pass on an opportunity to rake in even more money. As much as I don't like the vast majority of figures in the Prime BH line I actually picked up all the Legends class Abominus figures and if they released them all in this larger size I'd probably be foolish enough to throw many at the complete set in that class too.

Looking forward to picking up Swerve and Cosmos. Just wondering how soon we can expect the inevitable 3rd party "My First Blaster" accessory for Swerve. I may actually make my own while I wait for this figure to hit the shelves here.

Not sure why so many folks have voiced displeasure over the simplified versions of the BH toys. Honestly I don't see much difference, complexity wise, than the Armada figures. There's also the fact that so many folks are forgetting that these are being targeted towards young children and the vast majority of folks posting on here are far removed from that classification. Unless you are seven years old you really don't have the right to bitch about the toys. You are NOT the center of Hasbro's universe and they don't give a Rattraps ass about your opinion of the BH line. That's why we have the Generations line and even that is still more prone to Hasbro's whims than it is popular opinion.

These simplified BH toys are insulting the intelligence of grade-school children, since (IIRC) these were made because parents were complaining that children "couldn't transform the mainline figures."

Bear in mind, the mainline figures included the PRiD Bumblebee mold

I'm also willing to bet that all of those children threw out the instructions and/or were three years old. >:oP

T-Macksimus wrote:Unless you are seven years old you really don't have the right to bitch about the toys.

This can be said about every retail figure.

So... where did the trilingual packaging make its return? Pretty sure the Legends around my area don't have them... :???:

Well those knock offs enlarged legion toys are about par for the course of Hasbro and their daft ideas of taking smaller things and making them big so they can eke more money out of it.

And what's this I'm hearing about parents complaining about their kids not being able to transform their toys? Not that I don't believe this to be true, but it is quite sad that we've reached the point where kids are so inept that their parents are asking for the toys to be dumbed down for them.

Whatever, if they think it's worth wasting their money to buy this crap then fine. The kids always loose interest in them in less than a month as it is.

Pretty neat, although, as has been said, these should have been scouts. I might pick up Swerve just coz he's swerve. Cosmos is neat too, but they shoulda worked some hands in there somehow, instead of just molded hands into stubs.

I still don't buy that load anyway. Sounds made up. I mean, okay kids might be breaking them, but kids break everything. I had some wicked G1 and G2 figures that all eventually got broken through my own need to twist them into new fan modes. But parents reeling from kids breaking toys? give me a break. Maybe parents are just bitches today and actually give in to a crying kid saying he just broke his toy. God forbid they learn to respect what they have, and how much it costs to replace.

Those legend class generations figures are way superior to the upscaled legends from prime...

I'am definitively getting those two!

Based on the timing of RK receiving their stuff, I'd be on the lookout for these as the first post x-mas restock for many retailers.
