Nice comparison pics :). You forgot to mention that you also have a Blitzwing avatar pic :P.

I'm guessing you're a bit of a Blitzwing fan, am I right?

You know, it's odd. It seems that most around here liked Springer a lot more than Blitzwing, but out of the two, Blitzwing is by far my favorite. That's not to say I don't like Springer a lot, because I do, but Blitzwing just works for me a lot better, especially in bot mode. He's got that big, solid, blockiness to him but with decent articulation and great detailing and the paint and colors really nod back to G1, at least on the version I have (Takara's). It's a cool figure and far nicer in hand than I initially thought it would be.

hmm.. Been wanting to get a G1 Blitzwing for a while..

didn't know there are KOs running out there. How does one tell which is KO and which is authentic if buying loose from Ebay?

I don't hate the Generations Blitzwing figure. In fact, there's a few things about it that I think are pretty clever. It's just the other things that people have complained about that drag him down a bit. The shoulders, the nosecone, etc.

Mostly because these seem like things that could've been fixed had they did a little more testing on him. It's that could've-been-great aspect that makes him slightly frustrating. Still, I was happy enough that I picked up the Doubledealer retool.

I love the look of Generations Blitzwing.

I just get frustrated because nothing tabs in and hold in place, that is not just the shoulders too ... His Tank and Jet mode have some tabs that just don't stay locked in....

That animated Blitzwing is such a fiddly piece of crap.

I have Blitzwing and Springer stood together but Blitzwing is at the front. I did try the fix on his shoulders and one is cured but the other is only better than it was. I don't mess with my figures that much so I tend to go for looks over anything else and he does look good.

This thread prompted me to get my Generations Blitzwing out again and see if I dislike it as much as I remember. While I think the overall figure has grown on me slightly, the glaring issue (gun handle too short, nosecone in the way, cant use cannon in robot mode) still make it one of my least favorite figures over the past couple years. Those shoulders are just abysmal.
